Ari’s eyes flickered in the candlelight as he leaned over her. The feeling of his body and scent so close made her ache for him. Yet he was slow and purposeful as he leaned into her. As Tatiana scrambled down the front porch steps, she threw her backpack over her shoulder. She yelled goodbye to her father over her shoulder.
