CHAPTER 9
I just sat there, looking out the window.
Weirdly, an insignificant amount of guilt tugged my heart as I think about what has just happened earlier.
Well, yes, I got so shocked and it was like the utmost terrifying thing that could happen to a person, but it wasn’t, and I couldn’t think of other ways to react to it.
I shouted at him as if he was the stupidest person in the world.
Just realizing how disgraceful my initial reaction was, I wanted to be swallowed by this seat immediately.
Argh! Why did I even decide to get into this stupid car!
But then again, I cannot show remorse. I’d rather die than apologize about it.
Duh!
I mean, I know that what I did was wrong, but it wouldn’t have happened if he didn’t grab my arm! He should be the one to apologize.

“You’re up next miss.” the guy behind the desk said after a woman just walked out of the room where the interview is going to take place. It’s Coreen. A knock on my door woke me up from my sleep. I realized that I slept in the bath tub, so I rose and dried myself up. “Ma’am Therese, come eat downstairs.” I heard ate Sona’s voice behind the door. “I’ll be there in a minute!” I shouted. I went out of the bathroom and went into my walk in closet to change. I wore my nighties and went downstairs for dinner.
