Maryam's POV

"Do you really mean what you had just said?". I asked just to be sure of what I just heard.

"Yes I do"

"So..... How about this, I want two things from you"

"Two things?"

"Yes, two things"

"First, call Khalid and apologise for what you had done to him yesterday-".  

"What?!  No way!"  He yells.

"Why? You can't do it?" I ask smirking. I don't know why, but I enjoyed seeing this side of Kareem. I really can't believe there could be a day I'd be making rules for Kareem Abdulazeez.

"I...I can't do it" he finally said.   "He took you out without my permission Maryam!  I'm your husband and not him! You came home late yesterday and did you see the look he was giving you? He likes you!"
