THIRD PERSON'S P.O.V.

Originally, Trace was supposed to purchase their food, but Celestine intervened. He simply nodded and chose to remain on Celestine's side of the aisle.

She didn't know what to think when Celestine told her that she needed him and that he wouldn't abandon her in the middle of things. Despite the fact that her voice was devoid of emotion, he could tell that her words were pure and came from her heart.

When she said those words, her heart began to beat faster all of a sudden. This is something she will never forget because it was the first time Celestine admitted she needed help.

He listened to what Celestine had to say. He didn't go out to get food for them because he didn't have to. The reason he chose to remain at home with the girl was that he knew she needed him more than
