"Where is your house here?"

"My house? We've already passed it," he answered simply.

"What?" I turned to him. "Then where are we going?"

Jacob quickly glanced at me, his eyes looking hesitant. He was probably anticipating my reaction if he told us where we going. "In the pavilion. We will have lunch there."

"Why there? Can't we just go to your house?" I said a little nervous.

"They've prepared food there. And we often eat in the pavilion."

"Are we going to eat with someone?" I added a question.

Jacob sighed. "Yes, Lauren," he answered without looking at me.

I shut my mouth and didn't say anything. I'm getting the same concern again. I don't want to speak anymore because Jacob will probably repeat his words again. I know that I'm like a broken plate with my repeated fears and maybe if I do it again, Jacob will be completely annoyed with me. I will not only face simple wolves but his family members, the highest clan here in Magnuth.
