Chapter Thirteen

Corruption:

James growled fiercely. Arkyn has insulted him and his pack. He was the future Alpha; he couldn't show weakness. His jaw clenched shut and he began walking off stage. His eyes glowing as his wolf was ready to shift. Images of ripping Arkyn’s throat out, the front of his chest drenched in wine colored blood. He went to step off the stage, his claws descending out of his finger tips.

“James!” Sarah shouted at his back.

James stiffened up his shoulders dropping and then arching back as he turned to look at his mouth. His eyes were full of anger as he looked at his mother. He watches Arkyn walk out of the hall. He had paused for a second in the aisle as if baiting James. After Sarah called his name, Jame watched Arkyn continue walking. James could see the smug smile on his face even though he wasn't looking at him. Sarah walked quickly to James touching his forearm lightly.
