+ Medora

"What?..."

The single word barely made it past my frozen lips. I sat in the freezing snow and stared right into Kaz's glowing amber eyes.

Fated mate.

The two words rang loud inside my head. They bounced around my skull. My brain short-circuited. I forgot about the biting wind. I forgot about my bare feet freezing in the slush. I just stared at the massive Lycan king kneeling in front of me.

He knew.

They all knew. They sat back and watched me cry. They watched me hate my own body. They

She really should rip her head right off her shoulders!! I didn’t realize that her real mother had died and her stepmother raised her and she and Vanessa are half sisters! I am just SURE that her blood mother was a Lycan!!

  • Bred For The Alpha Daddies   The Baby is Coming

+ MedoraKaz asked the question, and the whole world went quiet.I stared at the woman sitting in the mud. Her green velvet dress soaked up the dirty water. Her blonde hair stuck to her sweaty, pale face. She looked up at me with wide, terrified eyes. She waited for me to show mercy. She expected me to act like the weak, quiet girl she trained me to be.But that girl died a long time ago."She deserves to be sold," I said. My voice rang clear across the quiet courtyard. "You can do whatever you want with her, Kaz."Kaz let out a low, dark chuckle. The sound promised absolute violence."But first," I continued, stepping closer to the trembling woman. "I have a message for Richard."My stepmother flinched.I looked at the lead guard standing by the iron gates."Send a messenger to the western valley tonight," I announced. I made sure my voice echoed off the tall stone walls so everyone could hear. "Tell Richard Fletchling his land claim is gone. As the Luna of Ironholt, I officially str

  • Bred For The Alpha Daddies   What do we do with her?

+ MedoraMy stepmother turned pale white. All the color drained right out of her face. Her skin looked like spoiled milk. She pressed her spine so hard against the iron gates I thought the thick metal might snap her bones. She opened her mouth. She wanted to yell a loud denial. She wanted to call me a crazy liar in front of the guards. I saw her jaw working up and down. She couldn't do it.I didn't blink. I just stared right through her. I didn't need to yell. My quiet silence was a thousand times louder than her wild screams. My brown eyes bored into her skull, dragging the ugly truth out into the cold evening air. The Luna aura rolling off my skin pressed straight down on her lungs. She started stammering."I... you don't..." she stuttered. Her knees gave out.She dropped into the dirt. The expensive green velvet dress pooled around her in the mud. She let go of the iron bars and covered her face with her shaking hands."We didn't kill her," she sobbed. The sound was pathetic. "She

  • Bred For The Alpha Daddies   This is your crime right?

+ MedoraMy stepmother froze. Her hand hung in the empty air right above her shoulder. She stared at my face. She saw the bright red handprint forming on my cheek. She saw the tiny drop of blood leaking from the corner of my mouth. But most importantly, she saw my smile. She finally realized her mistake.I was not the quiet, terrified little girl from the Fletchling estate anymore. I did not shrink into the shadows. I did not drop my eyes to the floor and apologize for existing. I stood tall. I laughed in her face.Pure terror washed the anger right out of her eyes. She took a fast step backward. Her expensive leather shoe caught on a rough cobblestone. She stumbled. She waved her arms in a frantic circle to keep her balance. She scrambled backward until her spine hit the thick, cold iron bars of the front gate. The sound of metal scraping against leather echoed through the courtyard.Schwing.Four silver swords slid out of their dark scabbards in perfect, lethal unison. The Ironholt

  • Bred For The Alpha Daddies   Are you done?

+ MedoraA dark, twisted smile crept across my face.I didn't feel a single ounce of pity for her. Vanessa played a lethal game. She tried to seduce a king. She insulted a Luna. She lost the game, and she paid the brutal price.I pulled away from Kaz. I turned my attention back to the screaming woman on the other side of the black iron bars.My stepmother shook the metal gates. Her green velvet dress dragged in the dry dirt outside the property line. She looked unhinged."Open the gates," I ordered. The four armed guards froze. They didn't turn the crank. They looked right at Kaz for confirmation. They respected me, but opening the fortress to a hostile threat went against their basic military training.Kaz didn't like my plan."No," Kaz growled. He stepped right in front of me. He shielded my body with his broad, muscular chest. "She stays out there. I won't let that poison near you. We're sending her away right now."Kai stepped up on my right side. His hand rested firmly on the hil

+ Medora"Send her away," Kaz barked. He didn't even blink. He didn't want to hear another word about the Fletchling family."If she refuses to leave the gates, throw her off the mountain," Kaz ordered flatly.I stood up from the plush rocking chair. My boots sank into the soft white rug of the nursery."Wait," I said.Kaz stopped. He turned to look at me. The feral rage in his amber eyes softened just a fraction. He hated the idea of that toxic woman breathing the same air as me. He wanted to shield me from every single ugly thing in the world."Let's go see what she has to say," I told him.Kol stepped forward. He pushed his wire glasses up his nose. He looked right at my round stomach."You're pregnant, Medora," Kol warned me. His voice sounded tight with raw panic. "That woman is toxic. She abused you for years. It isn't safe."I smiled at him. I placed my hand on my belly. The tiny pup fluttered against my palm, responding to my touch."I'll be fine," I said softly. "You guys are

  • Bred For The Alpha Daddies   Minor Disturbance

+ Medora Kaz wrapped his warm fingers over my bare knuckles. He pulled my hands away from my face. He looked right into my eyes. The fire cast bright orange shadows across his scarred jaw."You will find out soon, Medora," Kaz promised. His voice was a low, steady rumble. His words settled the frantic racing in my brain. I didn't need the answers tonight. I just needed to know they stood on my side. I gave him a small, tired nod and leaned back into my chair. The next morning arrived with bright sunshine. The birds chirped in the tall pine trees. The cold night air melted into a crisp, sweet spring morning. The kings packed the camp fast. They didn't let me lift a single bag. They rolled up the thick wool rugs. They folded the giant canvas tent. Kenzo tossed the gear into the back of the black truck with ease. The drive back to Ironholt felt different today.I didn't shake with fear. I didn't hide in the far corner of the leather seat like a terrified prisoner. I sat right in the mi
