We arrived at the packhouse and I was surprised to see Beta Drako standing there, waiting for us and something told me he was the little birdie Xavier was talking about. And thinking about it, it seemed like he knew the moment I entered his car as the ride was oddly so slow like he was trying to make me comfortable. Also, I had heard him chuckle to himself in the car. What sort of game did he play with me?

Xavier walked inside the house and with an embarrassed look, I followed him. Because my head was bowed, I bumped into him when he suddenly stopped. “Ouch.” I rubbed my forehead, but I still didn't look at him.

Without turning to face me, he ordered. “Burn that damn gown tonight, and when you're done having your bath, come to the guest room on the second floor.” My face paled when I heard him say this. Was he going to punish me again? This time would he be insanely aggressive, like flog me while at it? Still, I knew I wouldn't be able to avoid it and that he wouldn't want to be kept waiting so I rushed upstairs…or at least, I tried to. Because the moment I attempted to run, my legs screamed at me and I almost fell down.

However, I managed to reach my room, took off the dress and handed it over to an omega to burn, then I went inside the bathroom to bathe.
