Chapter 20

Alex had finished looking at Ryan and I’s wedding photos, so we just talked till it was late. I realised that it was already evening when I was informed by one of the maids that Ryan had arrived.

“Oh my gosh, is he here?” Alex asked excitedly, and I rolled my eyes at her and walked out the door.

"Hey, wait for me!” she shouted as she ran to catch up to me.

“I wonder how bitter Jeremiah and Lisa will feel when they realise that you ended up with someone two times better than him. I am pretty sure Lisa will try to snatch Ryan away too". Alex laughed, and I laughed along. At this point in my life, I could not just care about Lisa.
