Alejandro's Act Of Care

Avril curled up on the seat and rested her head on the headrest. Alejandro walked around the car to the other side, opened the door and sat in. She looked at him and still saw that angry, dark and devilish look in his eyes. The first time she saw that look, she was lying on the floor after being beaten by his men. The injuries and bruises she sustained were not even healed yet and she had received worse beating already. She wondered why Alejandro was angry because obviously, it wasn't with her. Somehow, she knew he did not like seeing her hurt. Was it because of the money he paid for her and he did not like to see her unhurt? If someone purchased something new, he or she would get angry if someone else tarnishes it. Was that the case with Alejandro?
