Damon & Gracelyn POV

The forest was silent now, but the tension between us hadn’t faded. Viktor’s threat had passed for the moment, but the adrenaline still thrumed in my veins, coiling tight like my wolf beneath my skin. Every sense was heightened, every instinct screaming that danger could return at any second.

Damon’s hand found mine, fingers tangling around mine in a grip that was equal parts protective and possessive. His green eyes never left mine, blazing with a hunger I had never encountered before. “You’re mine,” he whispered, low and dangerous, the words vibrating through the bond like electricity.

I swallowed, heart hammering. My wolf stirred under my skin, coiling and stretching, echoing the surge of desire I felt. “I… I want you,” I admitted, breath trembling. My voice sounded small in the darkness, yet the bond flared in response, amplifying it into something primal.

He stepped closer, pressing his body against mine. Heat radiated from him, wolf instincts pulsing through every inch of him, and my body responded instantly. I felt seen—not just for my heart, my courage, but for my curves, my softness. He loved every inch of me. “Bones are for dogs,” he growled softly, fangs brushing my neck lightly. “Meat is for men… and you’re all mine.”

A shiver ran through me at the words. Society had tried to tell me curves were wrong. That my softness was something to hide. But Damon… Damon craved me. Every inch, every curve, every line. My insecurities melted into the heat between us.

He leaned closer, lips brushing my ear, teeth grazing the shell of it gently. “You feel the bond, don’t you?” His green eyes bore into mine, wolf coiled and ready beneath the surface. “It’s alive, Gracelyn. It calls to me. Every heartbeat, every breath… it’s ours, and it grows stronger when we claim each other.”

I nodded, trembling, overwhelmed by the intensity of both him and the bond. “I… I want it. I want… to bond fully with you.”

A grin curved his lips, sharp and dangerous. “Good. Because this… this is more than sex. This is claiming. You mark me, I mark you. Every bite, every scratch, every kiss… it makes the bond stronger. Do you understand?”

“Yes,” I whispered, heart hammering, body alive. “I… I understand.”

He pressed closer, hands roaming possessively over my curves. Every touch made my breath catch. My wolf coiled tighter, surging with anticipation, desire, and instinct. He was mine. And I was his.

The first kiss was electric, sharp, consuming. His fangs brushed my lips lightly, just enough to mark, to claim. I responded instinctively, teeth grazing his shoulder, leaving faint marks in return. Heat flared between us as our bodies pressed together, every inch communicating the same primal message: we belonged to each other.

His hands slid over my waist, gripping firmly, tracing my curves, tugging me flush against him. “Perfect,” he growled, voice thick with possession. “Every curve. Every inch. Mine. Don’t hide from me. Your softness… your meat… it drives me wild.”

My fingers traced over the hard planes of his chest, over the sinew and muscles, feeling the tautness, the strength. I bit lightly along his neck and shoulders, leaving marks, claiming him in return. My wolf roared beneath my skin, coiling, merging with his instincts. Each mark we left, each bite, each press of our bodies intensified the bond until it felt like our hearts and souls were physically entwined.

“Do you feel it?” Damon growled, hips pressing against mine, fangs grazing the delicate skin of my shoulder. “The bond… it’s screaming. Every touch, every gasp, every bite… it’s answering. You make it stronger.”

“Yes,” I breathed, teeth marking along the curve of his neck, hands clutching his back. “I… I feel it… overwhelming… but right. I want it.”

Our wolf instincts surged, primal and intense, guiding every move, every gasp, every shiver. We explored, marking each other in ways that were both tender and savage. Fangs grazed the skin along shoulders, back, and thighs. Hands clutched, scratched, and roamed. Lips pressed against skin, teeth leaving temporary traces of possession. Each mark was a declaration: you are mine, and I am yours.

The first climax hit us both like a tidal wave. Heat, sweat, wolf and human instinct, desire and dominance fused into one. The bond flared violently, a tether of fire, pulling us closer in body and soul. My wolf howled in tandem with his, muscles coiling, instincts screaming, marking the other as fully claimed.

When we finally collapsed against each other, breath ragged, sweat clinging to skin, the forest around us seemed to hum with quiet approval. Damon pressed me to him, hand sliding over my stomach, lips brushing the top of my head. “This… this is just the beginning,” he murmured. “Every time we mark each other, the bond grows. Every moment of claiming… it makes us unstoppable. You, me… mate.”

I rested my head against his chest, feeling our hearts pound in rhythm. “Then… let’s never stop,” I whispered. “Every mark… every moment… ours.”

His laugh was low, dangerous, possessive. “Every chance we get, Gracelyn. Every chance.”

And in that moment, I realized the truth: the bond wasn’t just magic. It wasn’t just instinct. It was us—alpha and mate, wolf and mate, marked and claimed. Every curve, every line, every bite, every touch—it was all ours. And nothing, not Viktor, not the world, could ever change that.

The training field behind the packhouse echoed with the sharp clash of wood against wood.Gracelyn spun on the balls of her feet, her braid whipping behind her as she blocked another strike. Sweat dampened the collar of her training shirt, but her grip on the staff remained steady.“Too slow,” she teased, knocking the weapon from her opponent’s hands. The young warrior groaned as the staff hit the dirt.“Luna, that was unfair.”Gracelyn grinned, slightly breathless. “Life’s unfair. An enemy won’t slow down because you’re tired.”Across the field, several pack members chuckled.Gracelyn wiped her forehead with the back of her arm and reached down to help the warrior up.“Again tomorrow,” she said.Behind the training ring, Damon stood watching.Arms crossed.Expression unreadable. But his wolf was very much awake.Mine.His gaze followed every movement of his mate—the strength in her stance, the way confidence now radiated from her in ways it hadn’t months ago.The shy woman who once a

POV: Damon & GracelynDamon POVThe night air felt wrong.I stood on the balcony of the pack house, arms braced against the cold stone railing, staring into the endless stretch of forest that belonged to us. Normally the land hummed with life — wolves patrolling, animals moving through the underbrush, the quiet rhythm of a territory at peace.Tonight it felt like the forest itself was holding its breath. My wolf paced restlessly beneath my skin.Something was coming.Behind me, I heard the soft creak of the bedroom door.Gracelyn.Even without turning, I knew it was her. The scent of wild honey and rain drifted through the air, calming the restless edge inside me.“You should be sleeping,” she said softly.I turned then.Moonlight spilled across her curves, illuminating the strong, beautiful woman standing in the doorway. Our newborn rested against her chest, wrapped in a soft blanket. The baby stirred slightly, tiny fingers curling against her shirt. The sight of them hit me like a p

Damon POVThe forest smelled of smoke and iron. My wolf roared beneath my skin, coiling tight and ready, every sense on alert. Viktor had sent scouts — small, silent shadows moving through our territory, testing the boundaries, assessing our strength. They didn’t know what they were about to face.I stood beside Gracelyn in the heart of the pack house, eyes scanning the treeline. She held the baby close, the golden thread pulsing faintly around us, alive and responsive to every motion. Even at such a young age, our child’s presence was shifting the energy of the land, stirring the pack’s instincts and awareness.“They’re moving faster than I expected,” I murmured, jaw tight. “Viktor wants to see us react. He wants a weakness.”Gracelyn’s gaze was steady, fierce. “Then we give him none,” she said. “This family… our bond… it’s stronger than anything he’s ever faced. And he’s about to learn that.”I nodded, feeling the surge of protective instinct rise like wildfire. “Then we prepare. Ev

Damon POVThe forest smelled of smoke and tension. My wolf was coiled tight, every sense screaming danger. Viktor had learned about the baby. That alone guaranteed he was plotting. I could feel it — the subtle vibrations of someone testing, probing, calculating our weaknesses.I paced through the pack house, the newborn cradled in Gracelyn’s arms. The child’s energy pulsed faintly, a soft glow beneath the skin, responding to our presence. Every movement, every thought, every heartbeat seemed to radiate through the golden thread linking the three of us.“Our enemies won’t wait long,” I said, voice low. “Viktor will strike at the first sign of weakness. He sees the child as leverage… or a weapon.”Gracelyn didn’t flinch. She shifted the baby slightly, letting the small body press against her chest, golden thread humming stronger in response. “Let him try,” she whispered. “We’ve survived worse. The pack is united, and this child… they are ours. And they will be protected.”I stepped clos

Damon POVThe forest was unnaturally quiet, the kind of silence that sets my wolf on edge. I could feel it — subtle vibrations through the land, faint but deliberate, like a warning whispered through the trees. Our rivals were testing us, poking at the edges of our territory, curious about the newborn that had already shifted the balance of power.Viktor’s name burned in my mind like acid. He would see the child not as a blessing, but as leverage, a threat, a weapon against me. And I would not allow it.I strode through the training yard, senses heightened, every shadow, every rustle, every distant sound cataloged and assessed. My wolf coiled within, hungry, protective. I saw the Betas and Gammas moving in silent coordination, each aware of my presence, waiting for command without hesitation. And there she was — Gracelyn, standing tall with our child cradled in her arms, golden thread pulsing faintly around her. Even now, she radiated authority, calm and unwavering. She had grown into
