"Why isn't your wolf healing you?" A pack member asked as I looked down into the empty eyes of my friend.

"I can't smell his wolf!" Blaze warned, but I waved off their question and stepped into my oldest and most dearest friend, needing a different answer from him.

"Took her where?" I questioned tightly, my eyes filling with suspicion because we both knew he had no love for Emmy, in fact, he had said outright that he wished for her to be gone and that he didn't want her around the pack.

"I don't know." Samuel uttered suddenly, seeming exhausted as he stumbled on his wobbly legs. "But it's clear that whatever Wyatt's intentions are... they are not good." He sighed as the pack closed around him, cutting off any further questions I had. Some even brave enough to glare at me angrily.
