Author's POV

“It's none of your business, and don't touch that, that's dessert,” Amber replied, glaring at Daniel with cold resentment.

“Oh, okay, sorry,” he muttered, lowering his head as he sauntered away, not bothering to ask her what was up with her.

Amber yanked off her apron, unable to control the anger in her chest, and began arranging the table. Her slender fingers shook slightly, not from fear but rage. She sat down, alone with her thoughts.

"Girl, I think we should teach Daniel a lesson, it's about time he starts treating us like an adult and not a little girl," Raven remarked.

Amber was about to reply when the front door burst open. Her father marched in with his shoulders slumped, two deep lines of worry appeared between his eyes.

He dropped into his chair like all the weight of the pack rested on him.

“What happened, Dad? You look pale,” Amber questioned, her tone already prepared for bad news.

“I’m on the verge of losing my job,” he confessed. “...My boss

  • Bully Me, Alpha   Chapter 51 NEW GODDESS

Amber’s POV Alpha Mason stopped mid-step, the frosty night breeze tightening around us like a booby trap. I felt his eyes before I even inhaled his familiar scent. My stomach bottomed out as I turned and saw him standing a few steps away, eyes locked on Xavier and me in front of the girl’s hostel. “I will call you,” Xavier beamed, his bright smile making my heart flutter. “I will be waiting,” I replied, trying to stay present, even as my skin burned under Alpha Mason’s gaze. I blew Xavier a kiss, and he chuckled, catching it mid-air with exaggerated grace. But Mason… he was seething. I caught it in the twitch of his jaw, the rigid line of his shoulders. He pulled out his phone, muttered something low under his breath, and stormed past us. His aura slapped me in the face. Dominant, destructive, and dangerous—three fiery Ds. "He thinks he owns us." Raven said in my head. "His goddamn wolf is calling us theirs." I walked into the hostel with my nerves babbling, threw my bag

  • Bully Me, Alpha   Chapter 50 THE BREAK UP

Author’s POV “Stay back. Have you forgotten the reason we are here?” Xavier’s voice was soft but firm as he stared at Amber with pleading eyes. "You are here for a swimming lesson, I can't let you off so easily." Amber sighed, her body still shivering from the cold water and the thoughts swirling in her head. She had to be there for her best friend. But she stayed in the pool beside Xavier, her bare feet brushing his under the surface. Across the room, Alpha Mason dropped Elsa’s hand quickly. His wolf howled in fury inside him. He had only half-listened to her ruthless insults, but hearing Amber referred to as an "ugly duckling" had cut deeper than he expected. His reaction wasn’t logical. It was—it was impulsive. His wolf took offense as if the words had been directed to them. “What happened to you back there, huh? You didn’t utter a word and allowed that Black bitch to bad-mouth me,” Elsa hissed, her nails digging into her palm as she glared up at him. Alpha Mason ran a

  • Bully Me, Alpha   Chapter 49 SWIMMING CLASS

Author's POV “Wow, who is that girl behind him? Isn’t she the model in that commercial?” one student whispered. A loud whistle spread across the pool with the combined scent of arousal and envy. Amber’s appearance oozed quiet charm, her dark curls draping over tiny shoulders, curves wrapped in the most elegant confidence. She looked nothing like the bullied omega they all once ridiculed. “Damn, now that’s what I call curves and beauty,” muttered a tall, broad-chested he-wolf beside Alpha Mason. Mason’s jaw clenched at the comment. He didn’t respond, but his narrowed green eyes said enough. Every male gaze on Amber made his blood boil. Even Alpha Xavier’s golden eyes lingered a second too long on Amber’s hourglass body, and Mason’s wolf groaned in anger. Elsa caught the way attention turned to Amber and instantly felt the sting of jealousy. Her wolf tensed up as she glared at Amber like a territorial challenge. “Isn’t that Amber, the omega we always used to mess with in c

  • Bully Me, Alpha   Chapter 48 BACK TO SCHOOL

Author’s POV Amber stood in the doorway, slightly uncomfortable. "No, no, it was actually my fault. I didn't knock," she explained, brushing her wet palms on her skirt. "No, it's not yours. I forgot to lock the door. Please refrain from telling anyone what happened here, I don't want anyone separating me from my girlfriend. You can come in," the girl beamed casually, her aura calm and collected, definitely Beta-ranked, Amber could sense. Amber strolled into the room, relaxing a little. "What is your name? Aren't you going to class?" she inquired, curiosity touching her gaze. The girl flipped her long ponytail, her scent was floral with a touch of honey. "My name is Linda. I don't have a class this morning, so that's why I was...you know, having fun," she muttered. "Which faculty are you in?" Amber questioned, her nerves finally settling as she smiled from ear to ear. "I'm in the art faculty," Linda answered. "Wow, I’m in science," Amber replied. "That's good. I can se

  • Bully Me, Alpha   Chapter 47 MOVING

Amber's POV I climbed down from the bed, I couldn't help but notice the tingle of excitement inside me. A new chapter was about to begin, and I wasn’t sure if I was ready. Today, I was moving into the university hostel, finally leaving my house, my family, and my comfort. Everything familiar. The dorms would probably smell like territory lines and foreign scents, but I would have to adjust. It was what normal she-wolves did at my age. Even if I wasn’t like the rest. Alpha Xavier had insisted on not staying in the hostel either, he said he didn’t trust how the other students treated me. He said he would rather sleep in his car than leave me vulnerable. Being around him these past few days made me realize I could be loved… really loved. Protected, even. His scent alone calmed Raven and made her feel satisfied. And maybe, just maybe, I was starting to want more. "Girl, get your lazy ass out of bed!" Bella’s voice shouted from the bathroom, making my ears jerk in annoyance

  • Bully Me, Alpha   Chapter 46 RUNNING

Amber’s POV I peeked behind me and saw that he was looking around for me. My heart felt like it would burst through my chest wall and flop out onto the ground. I quickly ran and hid behind a grey car, crouching low as my thighs burned from the effort. "Why can't that asshole just leave us alone?" Raven complained in my head. "I hope he doesn't find us so we can get this over with." "Mmmhmmm," I muttered. We were both scared out of our minds. Alpha Mason wasn’t in his right mind. Something about his aura had changed tonight, like a rogue wolf on the verge of snapping. I squatted there, waiting for him to pass while catching my breath. I needed help. I needed Xavier. Fumbling through my pocket with trembling fingers, I pulled out my phone. My hands were shaking so hard I nearly dropped it. I dialed Xavier’s number, and he picked up on the first ring. "Hello, my love, where are you?" He asked immediately, his voice hoarse and filled with worry. "I...I don't know. I am clo
