4. First Lesson to the Wife

It is morning, Burdak is awake and he wakes Randu. He will look for food.

"I will look for food, you wait here." His orders to the figure of Randu who is still half-conscious, it seems that his wife is still sleepy.

Randu nodded, then curled up again. He could hear a small murmur from the woman.

"Thirsty."

It is natural that Randu is exhausted and had no energy at all, all night she had to endure Burdak's overwhelming lust. Even according to Burdak, Randu can still be awake is a very good thing for an ordinary human being. Because he is not an ordinary human. Burdak came down and went straight to the spring, he drank it greedily to quench his thirst. Luckily he had a tanned bag for drinking water, he filled it to the brim. He will come back and give this drink first to his wife.

He found Randu in the same state, still curled up with her eyes closed.

"Drink..." Burdak gave the drink to his wife, Randu did look very thirsty, her lips were pale and dry. She drank so fast that some spilled on her shirt. After drinking it, she looked more conscious, her lips were no longer dry. Randu gave the drink back.

Burdak came back down, he would again fill the trough for their next trip. Burdak only waited five minutes to walk, until he found a forest deer. Fat deer and absolutely delicious. Usually, he is only full when he eats a whole deer, but now he will share it with his wife.

He is indeed a beast, of course, there is a beast in his body, he is a half-beast because he is a werewolf. Burdak focused on watching the movements of the deer, he was about to pounce on it. He didn't need a weapon for this… he just needed to run and bite the deer's neck to death. This was the hundredth time he had hunted deer. Definitely not a problem for him.

He waited for the deer to look down, then ran quickly towards the deer. But the fat deer moved fast…trying to escape from the predator. How can a fat deer run so fast? Burdak thought. He ran, and in the next few minutes was carrying the body of the deer he had killed.

“What a hassle, this deer… it's a good thing you're fat.” He mumbled quietly, although in his heart there was a sense of satisfaction in his heart for giving this delicious food to his wife. He prepared a pile of dry wood and twigs and lit a fire, he burned the deer he caught by previously cleaning the meat. That simple fire cooked the deer until it was edible, in fact, he could have eaten it as raw meat, but Randu would have vomited seeing it. He was used to doing it, hundreds maybe thousands of times he had lit fires in the forest and cooked his prey because he was always on duty outside.

When he is ready, he climbed a tree to take Randu down, his wife certainly couldn't go down. He saw the figure of a thin woman, shoulder-length short hair, very pale for someone who lived in the forest, her face was full of scars, as well as her body. He only realized now, his wife must have often been tortured in her previous village. He saw Randu's face moaning like in pain.

He shook Randu's hand, waking her up. He didn't want to be too gentle with this woman… because she could be rude to him later, he had to respect Burdak like a pack member respects his alpha. Yes… that's what a woman should be to her mate.

"Get up!" Burdak muttered in a harsh tone, he shook her hand again.

Randu blinked her eyes, looked around in confusion, she then sat down and looked at the fierce-looking man in front of her.

“Wake up, there's food downstairs! Or all the food will be eaten by other animals! Fast."

“I… I can't get down.” Randu glanced at Burdak's face then looked down again. Burdak was satisfied with that. That's how it should be.

"Learn to be more independent, don't be spoiled!" said Burdak. But he picked up Randu and put her on his back, he climbed down with his wife. Carrying Randu did not make it difficult for him to get down.

They ate in silence, occasionally Burdak looked at his wife. It was clear that the village was torturing Randu a lot...whether it was her parents or the whole village, there were even bruises on some parts of her body. On her feet, on her hands, on her shoulders, even Burdak could see a long scar on her left thigh. What happened in that village?!

"We're going to my village, I have to tell you first…don't make you look stupid there." Burdak said in a firm tone. Randu nodded, she listened but did not dare to look.

“I am the son of the village chief, we are werewolves…my father is an alpha, or in your village the village chief, I will pass on that title…when I already have a wife, or mate- that is you. You have to be respectful towards me but on the other hand…. You must have authority in front of the rest of my pack.” he continued.

“You… you… are you a werewolf, is that right?” Randu stuttered, her eyes glanced several times at the fierce-looking man.

"Yes. Surely you've heard of it?" Randu nodded. The rumors have been around for a very long time. How could a man from a neighboring village so far away wander into her village into the night…and alone. Wouldn't it be very dangerous, an ordinary human would definitely not be able to do it.

"I will train you, there will be a special person to prepare you to be my companion. I'm not a good man… I killed hundreds of people, and that's my job, so don't expect anything from me, let alone fall in love. Get that vocabulary out of your mind.” Burdak said it very firmly, there was no other choice but Randu to nod.
