It's all Neal can hear now. He felt like his heart is going to explode. Is this the feeling when a normal person meet a mob? He doesn't know. He was breathing hard. His nails dug into his palms as he fisted them.
Hunter's cold eyes scanned Neal up and down and moved forward causing Neal to step back. The back of his thighs touched the armrest of the couch.
