Guilty Feelings

"T-TRAVIS?"

He smiled a little at me. "Hi."

"W-what are you doing—" I mumbled and eased the door open then turned to Damien. "Uhm, will you leave us for a while, please?" I said while looking at his serious face looking at Travis.

He faced me and nodded. "Sure."

I closed the door and stepped closer to Travis.

"Hey,"

"Is he the reason you broke up with me?" He asked in a serious voice.

I take a breath. "How are you?" I don't mind his question. I don't want to answer it because I don't know what to answer.

"Have you come here to resign from your job?" that is his second question.

I nodded. "Yes, I announced my goodbye yesterday. And my boss already accepts my resignation." I answer him.

"Yesterday," he smiled weakly. I know, he feels sad and disappointed. "So, you were here yesterday?" I nodded again. "With that man inside your apartment?"

My mouth closed. I don't want to release a statement about Damien who opened my door for him.

"U-uhm, w-who did you know I was here?"
