Felix's Story 8

Just as her mind had told her, after receiving such a huge amount of embarrassment the previous week, Jomi found herself walking towards where Felix had his classes. She scanned the hall and found Felix seating in the hall and leaned against the wall waiting for the lecturer to leave the class.

She fumbled with the small box in her hands as she waited. Oyin and Efe leaned on the wall beside her. While Efe wore an helpless look and turned to Oyin for help, Oyin was sighing slowly, slight anxiousness showing in her eyes.

“Jomi, do we really have to do this again?” Efe asked helplessly.

“You were never like this before” Efe said again but Jomi paid her no attention. She had taken Kola’s advice and thought about it all week. As soon as she had come to a conclusion, she decided to look for Felix again.
