CAUGHT BETWEEN THE ALPHA LYCAN AND THE BETA'S HEART.

Luna's POV.

As I entered the dark and lonely auditorium of Normhigh Academy, I couldn't help but feel the familiar frustration creeping up inside me.

"Why does my life always have to take the wrong turn?" I thought to myself, exhaling a deep sigh.

Being an Omega in a pack of high-level werewolves was not a position I would have ever wanted, but it was the reality of my life.

Growing up, I always felt like an outsider in my own pack, always striving to fit in and be accepted. But as hard as I tried, I was always reminded of my place as an Omega.

My life was boring, and I was constantly filled with fear and anxiety, never knowing when someone would discover my true identity.

"Ugh, it's just so frustrating," I muttered to myself, feeling the weight of my loneliness pressing down on me. I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't even notice someone approaching me from behind.

"Shit!!" I exclaimed as a hand covered my eyes, causing me to jump in surprise. My heart was racing as I tried to process what was happening. "Who's there?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

Just as I was about to turn and confront the person who had covered my eyes, I heard a voice that I knew all too well. It was a voice that I did not want to hear, but one that I couldn't ignore.

"Hello Pretty Luna," the voice said, and I immediately recognized it as Dean Bull's.

I let out a reluctant sigh as I turned around to face him. "Dean Bull," I muttered under my breath, knowing that he was one of the best Gamma werewolves in our pack, the Red Moon's pack.

But what made him different from the others was the fact that he had confessed his feelings to me, even though I was not his mate.

"I knew you probably thought it was Daciana, right?" Dean chuckled as he made his way to the seat beside me. I rolled my eyes, annoyed that he was trying to make light of the situation.

I couldn't believe that I had bumped into Dean in the auditorium of all places. "Oh please, I never imagined she would find me here, Dean," I muttered to myself, taking my eyes off him.

I thought that he had better things to talk to me about, but the opposite was the case.

We sat there in silence for what felt like an eternity. It was one of the most awkward moments of my life. I felt so uncomfortable that I didn't wish for anything else other than to leave the auditorium.

Without saying a word to him, I stood up and was about to walk out when Dean's grip held me back. "Where are you running off so fast?" he suddenly asked, making me turn to face him.

Dean was one of the hottest kids in Norm high, no doubt about that, but I couldn't see him that way, not when my best friend, Daciana, liked him.

I tried to gently pull my wrist away from Dean's tight grip. "Let me go, Dean.. I have other things to do," I said, hoping to end the conversation and move on with my day.

But to my surprise, he tightened his fingers around my wrist and held me in place. I winced in pain as he squeezed my wrist too hard. "Ouch!! You are hurting me!" I whispered, trying not to draw too much attention from the other people in the auditorium.

However, Dean didn't seem to care about the pain he was causing me. Instead, he looked at me with a serious expression and asserted firmly, "I love you, Luna and I think you should reciprocate my love for you!"

I was taken aback by his words and couldn't help but pause for a second. 'Was Dean actually insane?' I thought inwardly, staring at him.

I had never given him any indication that I had feelings for him, so I couldn't understand why he was behaving this way.

"Dean, we've been friends for a long time and I value our friendship. But I don't have romantic feelings for you." I said rudely, hoping to reason with him.

However, my words seemed to fall on deaf ears. Thinking he would get tired and let me go, Dean did the worst.

He was going to come closer to me and kiss me on my lips but then, a creaking sound stopped him from his silly actions.

I took advantage of the opportunity and ran out of the auditorium without looking back.

He tried to call out my name and make me stop, but there was no way I was going to turn around.

Once I was outside, I leaned against the wall and took deep breaths, trying to catch my breath.

My heart was racing, and my hands were shaking. I couldn't believe what had just happened. "What the fuck does he take me for? A school slut?" I mumbled to myself, trying to make sense of it all.

As I tried to regain my composure, I couldn't shake off the feeling that something was still off. It was like all eyes were on me, and I couldn't help but feel self-conscious.

As the most popular student in school, I was used to people staring at me, but this felt different. I looked around and realised that other students were glaring at me, and I didn't know why.

I started walking towards my next class, but I couldn't shake off the feeling that something was wrong.

Why were people looking at me like that? Did they know what had just happened with Dean? I felt a mix of embarrassment and anger, and I didn't know how to deal with it.

As I made my way towards the school's main building, no one seemed to be in a good mood. I tried to brush it off and chuckled, trying to hide my shame, but no one smiled back at me. I couldn't help but feel uneasy.

As I walked, I saw something that made my blood run cold. There were weird, hefty werewolves with their claws and fangs all visible to my view.

I had never seen anything like it before, and it terrified me. I realised that I was about to get it hot from the paranormal students, but I didn't know why. What had I done to deserve this?

I quickly changed my direction and headed towards the school's tower. As I walked, I could hear the werewolves getting closer, and I knew they were willing to attack me.

My heart raced as I paced faster to the high tower before me. I couldn't believe this was happening to me.

"What have I done?" I thought to myself as I tried to catch my breath. I had never felt so scared in my life.

I didn't know what to do or where to turn. All I could do was keep running and hope that I could make it to safety.
