I sat in Luna's classroom, my eyes locked on the door, anxiously waiting for Luna to enter.

It had been weeks since Bryan's death and the long vacation, but I hadn't seen her once.

Every time I went to her house hoping to find her, her mom would always give me excuses that I couldn't stand. It frustrated me.

I let out a deep sigh and glanced at my wristwatch to check the time, worried that I might be late for class.

"Why is she taking so long to come to school? Did she stop somewhere without telling me?" I wondered, feeling troubled.

I stood up, hands in my pockets, and turned around, fixing my gaze on the window. I was determined to wait for Luna.

"It's been such a long time..." I managed to force a smile on my lips as I observed the surroundings outside the school.
