Lia groaned. She was on a video call with her cousin. She was the daughter of her maternal uncle. They lived abroad but Lia had a pretty good relationship with her.

She was younger than Lia but more mature than her. She had given her advice more than anyone else.

"My mom called your mom?"

She nodded.

"Aria, it's not true. I'm not in a relationship."

Aria was at. very nice beach house. Lia could see the ocean waves behind her. Pretty nice view.

"Okay, then you can start dating. I have some friends you could meet."

Lia shook her head.

"I'm in career mode now. I wouldn't concentrate on that stuff."

"I knew you would say that. I'll tell my mom. She will tell your mom. So you better think of a new reason to answer her why you don't date now."
