Kevin's Pov

“I did it… I was the one who pushed your mother. It… it was an accident, I really didn't mean to do that. I didn't.” The girl sobbed, her eyes red and bloodshot. I stood still, not knowing what to do or even say until Ginny suddenly slapped her, her face morphing into a disappointed look.

“I treated you with care and love and yet you did something like this?! How could you?!” She yelled, her body shaking, “If you had told the truth from the beginning, maybe I would have helped you but you chose to frame me for it so you have to face the consequences. Someone, call the police.” She instructed and at first, no one did as she asked.

“Can't you hear me?! Do you all want to lose your jobs?!” She practically screamed which made a male servant whip out a phone to call the police. After he had done so, Ginny turned to me, pity in her gaze.

“K… Kevin. I'm so sorry, I promise that the person who killed your mom would get their punishment. I'll make sure of that.”
