Rhea's Pov

“Dead? How… How did they die?” I questioned, stepping closer to the girl. She flinched slightly, her eyes darting upwards, towards Fiona then to me as she lowered her gaze again. I furrowed my eyebrows. Why that look? Was she scared of us?

“I'm not going to hurt you I promise. Actually, we just want to ask them a few questions, we aren't going to bring any trouble here. Once we're done, we'll leave immediately.” I pressed on, silently hoping that she was just lying that those people were dead. If they died on our way here, then was someone trying to work against us?

“I'm not lying.” As if she could read my mind, she suddenly spoke, making me jerk slightly, “They really are dead. They died four years ago, and we're buried outside the village due to the bad deeds they had done. Their house is now occupied by someone else. You won't find what you're looking for there.” She said softly, stepping back.
