Eliana didn't tell Arnaldo about their father's condition. She thought once he would be home, then she would discuss it with him.

She sat down on the couch and brought her hands under her chin. She could not believe that her father's survival chances were so low. She tapped her right foot on the fluffy mat. She was restless and every kind of weird thought appeared in her mind.

Augustus reached their bedroom and found her in deep thoughts. He quietly sat beside her after removing his blazer.

"Augustus, I don't want my father to die. Why do good people have to suffer so much? My father never did anyone wrong, yet he had to see all such things," Eliana said and waited for his response.
