Chapter 8

"Good morning, Ma'am," greeted Trina's maid. It was only five o'clock, but she was already awake. She just wanted to prepare something for her and Darren to eat.

"I'll just cook. You can do the other house chores," she commanded Annie with a smile.

"Alright, Ma'am," she said, leaving Trina in the kitchen. She just wanted to cook now. She cooked Darren's favorites> She wasn't doing this to get his attention. There was nothing wrong with cooking in the morning if you just felt like it. There was a smile on her lips while she was cooking, and her dishes smelled in the kitchen. When she finished, she went to eat first. They were not obligated to wait for each other, especially if they were only a married couple on paper.

She went up to her room and dressed up so that she could go to the company. Darren woke up and Trina was gone.

"Who cooked breakfast?" Darren asked because the servants didn't know his favorites.

"Ma'am Trina, Sir."

"Did she go to work already?"
