Identical

The next moment, a familiar figure rushed toward her, jumped into her arms, and kissed her face, "Mommy, you're finally back. I missed you so much."

Samantha, a bit angry, patted his bottom, "You naughty boy, after peeing, didn't you know to come back the same way? You scared me!"

After speaking, she realized something was off, puzzled, "Weren't you wearing white casual clothes just now? How did you suddenly change into white sportswear?"

Alexander thought she had drunk too much, rolled his eyes, and said, "I've been wearing this outfit all along. You must be drunk. I and Charlotte made a lemonade for you upstairs. Hurry and drink some!"

Samantha: "..."

Really?

Did she drink too much and see things wrong?

Samantha shook her head vigorously, not thinking too much, and carried Alexander into the front apartment.

Once they entered the apartment, Noah walked out from behind the fake mountain with a serious expression. His deep ink-black eyes stared without blinking in the direction Samantha disappeared, his cherry-red lips tightly pursed into a line.

There was actually a little boy who looked exactly like him.

According to biology, aside from identical twins, two different individuals could not look exactly the same.

But his biological mother and father had never mentioned having a twin brother.

What on earth was going on?

While Noah was lost in thought, his phone in his pocket suddenly rang.

He took out his phone and, upon seeing the caller ID, his usually serious face couldn't hold up. It started to crack, and his lips even trembled a bit as he spoke, "Dad..."

...

Twenty minutes later.

Several sleek black Bentleys surrounded a roaring Maybach, smoothly coming to a stop at the side of the road.

A dozen black-clad bodyguards emerged from the cars.

The door of the Maybach was pushed open, and a handsome man in a black suit stepped out, exuding an icy aura colder than midwinter as he walked towards Noah standing by the roadside.

The man had a sharply defined handsome face, perfect to the point of being impeccable.

Against the light, he seemed like a deity descended from the heavens, shrouded in the majesty of a superior being.

Exquisite cufflinks, delicate wristwatch—every detail spoke of this man's significant background.

Noah stood obediently, hands folded on his abdomen, and muttered, "Father..."

Ethan's gaze was cold and indifferent as he looked at Noah. There was no expression on his face. "Why did you come here alone? You have one minute to explain."

Noah lowered his head, biting his lip, remaining silent.

Seeing him not speaking, Ethan impatiently urged, "Speak."

"Sorry!"

The response to Ethan was a brief word apology without any additional information.

Ethan's thin lips pressed into a tight line. Watching Noah's submissive demeanor, he suddenly felt a twinge of reluctance. Suppressing the surging anger, he instructed his subordinates, "Take the young master home. Reflect on your actions. Without my orders, you are not allowed to step out of the house."

"Yes!"

His assistant, Jade, quickly took action, wasting no time in escorting Noah into the leading Bentley, swiftly driving away.

The remaining bodyguards accompanied Noah.

Watching the departing Bentley, Ethan's anger remained unabated. His face turned ashen as he adjusted his tie, ready to get into his car and leave, when suddenly, his legs were grabbed.

He lowered his head to look.

It was an unexpectedly cute three or four-year-old girl.

The little girl was exceptionally adorable, with rosy cheeks and round, big eyes. She had two small buns on her head, and a pink hairband danced on top like two fluttering butterflies.

The little girl tilted her small head, blinking her watery big eyes excitedly, "Daddy, you're finally back! Why did it take you so long? Charlotte missed you so much."

Ethan, known for his limited patience, never wasted time and energy on unimportant people and matters. However, looking at the little girl's rosy cheeks in front of him, he surprisingly found some patience he rarely possessed and didn't immediately leave. "You've mistaken someone else for me."

Charlotte shook her little head like a tambourine, "No, Charlotte doesn't make mistakes. You and brother look so alike; you must be my daddy. Daddy hug, I want Daddy to hug..."

As she spoke, she used her chubby little hands to pull at Ethan's pants, kicking her short legs incessantly, attempting to climb up. However, due to her small stature and short legs, she couldn't manage to climb up, leaving her hanging on Ethan.

"..."

Ethan's handsome face darkened slightly, and his temple throbbed visibly.

He was never good at dealing with children.

It was precisely because of this that his son had grown into the person he was now--silent, mature beyond his years.

Facing the entanglement of the little girl, he had no idea how to handle it.

Just as he felt helpless, not knowing what to do, he heard a low growl not far ahead.

"Charlotte..."

He followed the sound.

He saw a woman in exquisite casual wear angrily walking towards them.

The woman had a slender figure, perfect features, and wore a dark gray thin-knit sweater that showcased her well-defined curves, with long and straight legs hidden beneath tight jeans.

As the woman approached, a faint fragrance spread in the air.

He was startled, his elongated eyes narrowing slightly.

This scent was so familiar.

Exactly the same as the fragrance on Suzy's body five years ago that night.

Strangely, when Suzy appeared before him again with their son, he couldn't summon the slightest interest in her. Yet today, a sense of familiarity returned in the presence of a strange woman.

Samantha's face turned grim. She picked up Charlotte by the collar and placed her aside, too occupied to reprimand her. She hurriedly apologized to Ethan, "Sir, I'm sorry, I..."

As she got a clear look at the man's face, her eyes widened in disbelief, "Sir, you look so familiar, like someone I..."

This man resembled Alexander.

The similarity in facial features and contours was as high as ninety-nine percent.

Could he be the biological father who abandoned Alexander?

Her direct gaze made Ethan uncomfortable. He frowned displeasedly and sneered, "Are you trying to say that I look a lot like your ex-boyfriend?"

Without hesitation, Samantha blurted out, "Of course not! You look exactly like my son, almost identical..."
