Messed up of emotions

Writer’s POV:-

As the clock struck past eight in the evening, Charles stormed out of his office, his mind consumed with rage. He was not convinced by the news of Jenny’s heart attack; he believed it was another one of Hunter’s manipulative schemes. Victor, his loyal confidant, waited outside in the car, ready to take him to the hospital where Jenny was admitted.

The drive to the hospital was tense, the silence only broken by the sound of the engine and Charles’ heavy breathing. Victor kept a close eye on him, knowing how volatile his boss could be in such situations. He had seen Charles’s temper flare before, and he knew the importance of keeping a lid on it, especially in a public place like a hospital.

Arriving at the hospital, Charles stormed inside, his eyes blazing with anger. Victor followed closely behind, ready to intervene if things got out of hand. They made their way to the ICU where Jenny was being treated, and Charles barged in without a second thought.
