Surprise

“Who is your wife, Viaan?” A question that ceased their breaths, catching them off guard, resounded through the threshold of the door. Immersed in an instant pin-drop silence, the two men stilled, looking at each other.

It was clearly a feminine voice interrupting their conversation and, as if the ghost possessed them, their faces whitened out looking at each other. The realization had the strangest way to enlighten them.
