“Stephen, you need to leave now. The sooner you go, the earlier you can come back home.” I pushed my husband towards the front door.

“But I want to be with you. I can send my secretory with an expensive gift. I am sure they won’t mind.” He said with a grin and I slapped my forehead.

Who would say that he was the same cold man who hardly talked unless it’s business. He was whining like a little kid.

“I am sure that Mr. Vaquez and his wife would mind because they are good people and we are very close to them. I can’t accompany you due to our safety reasons but it doesn’t mean that you can also skip. Now go.” I gave him a warning look with folded hands.

“But you are not feeling well. You might need anything.” He tried to make another excuse.

“I have mild cold which is very normal and if I need something, there are half a dozen guards outside, a waiting driver and maids. If you are done with your silly excuses, you must leave if you don’t want to sleep on the couch tonight.” I
