"The finance manager is innocent. He had nothing to do with the missing money; his only mistake was being careless with the company's account," I was informed.

"Alright, tell them to release him. You can go," I dismissed them, releasing a sigh as I watched them leave. It had been three weeks, and there was still no progress on the fraud case.

The theft had taken a toll on the company, and we were all working tirelessly to recover the stolen funds without raising any suspicions. But so far, our efforts have been in vain.

I was doing my best, but it wasn't enough. We needed to brainstorm and find a way to recoup the money before the news got out to the public.

That was why I was currently in a meeting with all the department managers, trying to come up with strategies to boost our company's sales and recover the missing funds as quickly as possible.

"We could extend employees' working hours to catch up," one of the higher-ups suggested.

"But that would mean overwork
