2 Why???

"Trusting someone is the worst thing in life; people can go beyond the limit to get money." - Aaron Black

When you aren’t loved, you aren’t real. Life is cold, like the stone against my palm. Aaron is cold like ice, he feels unloved, and something has changed him a tip to toe.

The wedding rituals were done silently and hastily. In the end, Elaina was sent with Aaron and Myra. Myra was still feeling scared, and her heart was throbbing with fear.

The driver opened the car door for her; she gestured for Elaina to get in. After her, Aaron got in. Myra could see the silence on Aaron's face. She knew that it was the silence before a storm.

As the car stopped in front of the Black Mansion, Aaron got out of the vehicle rapidly and steered toward the main entrance leaving his bride and mother.

Myra came out and helped Elaina get out of the car. With a sigh, she stepped toward the main gate. Aaron was pressing the doorbell impatiently. He tried the passcode, but maybe, someone had locked it inside, so he had to wait until someone opened the door.

Elliot has locked the door inside to surprise Aaron with his small birthday party. Aaron turned twenty-nine today. So, he and Amelia were waiting for him eagerly. Hearing the doorbell, he stood at the entrance but to tease Aaron, he didn't open the door instantly.

"Elliot, open the door, don't irritate him," Aiden said while drinking water. Austin was smiling happily, seeing the tantrum of their kids. Amelia was coming out of the kitchen with a big cake, which she had made for Aaron.

Hearing Aiden, with no choice, Elliot opened the door. Aaron was about to rush into the house, but Myra stopped and held his hand.

"Surprise..." Elliot shouted, but his voice choked up, seeing the trio at the entrance. He had planned a surprise, but here, he is surprised. He was glued to the place, and his mouth was still open, with wide eyes.

"Elli..." Amelia shouted at him as he was still glued to his place. But with a glance at the entrance, the cake in her hands kissed the floor, and she screamed, "Aaaaaaa..."

Aiden glanced at the entrance, the glass slipped from his hand, and it kissed the floor, shattering into a hundred pieces. Austin got up rapidly and glanced at the door. His eyes also widened with shock.

Before Myra could stop Aaron for more seconds, he was already pushing Elliot away from the entrance. Everyone gulped hard as they knew what was done. But all of them wanted to know what and how it happened.

Rashmi also came there; her gaze fell on Myra and the bride. She saw garlands around the neck of Aaron and the bride. She almost lost consciousness, but Austin rapidly caught her and made her sit on the sofa.

Aaron pulled the garland around his neck and broke it. The flowers of the garland spread on the floor. Myra held the hand of the bride and dragged her inside the house.

They took a few steps when Aaron showed his palm to stop them, "Don't move."

"You," Aaron whirled to the bride with outrage and raised his hand to slap her. She stepped back with fear, and Myra came forward between them to stop Aaron. He pointed his index at the girl and showed his finger to move away from Myra.

"Why?" Aaron asked Myra. Anger was dripping from his eyes. Myra's eyes filled with tears, and she gulped hard.

"Aaron, I couldn't deny it because it was about her dignity," Myra sighed.

"Do you know me, Mom?" He paused, grating his teeth, "Have you ever thought that any girl could come into my life?"

"I know, but" Myra sighed.

"Then, why did you believe her nonsense?" He pointed at the girl.

Her son raised his tone in front of her for the first time. He was the one who always took a stand for her. Aaron was the dearest child among her four kids, Aaron, Aiden, Elliot, and Amelia.

Elliot was standing nearby Elaina. Austin, Amelia, and Rashmi stood behind Aaron. After all, they also wanted to know what happened.

"Aaron, I took a stand for her because of her father's reputation, and she is not as bad as you think about her..."

"Bravo! Mom," This girl blamed me, and you accepted. How much do you know her? More than me?" Aaron scoffed, cutting Myra's words.

"Why did you do this, mom?" Aaron stepped back with disgust. He cannot hate his mother, and he can't forgive her for this act.

"And you, start your count down; you have messed up with the beast," Aaron steered away rapidly, warning the bride.

As he disappeared, Austin came forward to Myra and hugged her first of all, he kissed her forehead and asked, "What happened?"

"Tell me," Austin whispered while Myra cried in his arms, emptying her heart.

She cried for a few minutes and then whirled to everyone. She knew that everyone needed to know what had happened there.

"She is Elaina, Elaina Aaron Black," Myra dropped a final bomb on everyone. Everyone gasped because it was an impossible thing to happen in Aaron's life. He hates girls, even though no girl can enter his office chamber.

She said to Amelia, "Arrange a room for her and give her the stuff she needs."

Amelia nodded and led her to the room next to her. Providing her with all the needful stuff, she came back to the living hall. Everyone was sitting on the sofa; Myra was in Austin's arms. She took a seat between Aiden and Elliot.

Myra drank some water and asked what had happened at the Malhotra mansion. Austin sighed, "But why did you agree, Myra?"

"Yeah, Mom. All of us know Brother can never fall in love with any girl. Love is the farthest thing; he never makes friends. Running away was the farthest thing to do; he won't allow any girl to sit in his car," Aiden sighed and said because he was feeling bad for Aaron. They all knew how he came out of his problem and how dangerous it was for his health.

"She was lying. Aaron never helps any girl. Then why did you agree to his father's demand?" Rashmi asked. Her heart was still throbbing.

"I became selfish, Maa," Myra closed her eyes.

"I have seen this girl before, she is not bad, but there must be some reason behind this act," Myra said and swallowed hard.

"Myra, you should not do such a silly act," Austin caressed her back and consoled her. He never scolds her.

"Austin, you were alone when I came into your life. You needed someone, and I arrived the same way; Aaron is alone; he needs someone," Myra explained.

"But Mom, brother will not let her get in his room; entering his life is the thing to be dreaming of," Amelia said, and Aiden and Elliot agreed with her, "She is absolutely right."

"At least, we should give them time; time heals everything," Myra said, peeking at the sky.

"Mom, brother Aaron is not a simple thing; you know him," Aiden sighed, and they felt pity for Aaron.

"When I married your Dad, he was the most brutal man ever. Still, I broke it and brought out a loving and caring person. Elaina can do this; I have seen her passion," Myra said with a light smile.

"But why did she lie?" Austin asked, rubbing his golden beard.

Myra shrugged off and said, "I don't know. But I want to know. She has to answer. I will ask her tomorrow."

"Take every decision wisely, and don't hurt my son," Rashmi pouted. She was showing her anger to Myra but inside, she was happy that Aaron got married.

Austin led Myra to her room. Aiden helped Rashmi to get into her room. Setting her in her room, Aaron went to his room. No one was feeling an appetite.

"Amee," Elliot stopped Amelia.

"Yeah," Amelia stopped holding the knot of her bedroom.

"She is brave," Elliot said with a bright smile.

"Who?"

"Sister-in-law," Elliot chuckled, and Amelia joined him. They laughed.

"Yeah, this is hard to stand in front of Brother, and she... Oh! My God! She lied that she was running away with her boyfriend. And who is the boyfriend?" Amelia said amazingly. Elliot completed her lines, "The Great Aaron Black."

"I hope she will make her space in his heart and return us our brother, who has been missing for years," Amelia sighed and hugged Elliot by the side.

"I hope so.." Elliot sighed and ruffled her hair, saying, "Good night."

Myra changed her clothes and opened the door to get out. Austin stopped her, "Where are you going?"

"To check out Aaron," She said with pain and guilt, "I hurt him. He would never get married at our request. So, I just agreed. Now, she came as his wife. God will handle the rest."

"Myra, give him some time. Your act has hurt him," Austin stopped her.

"I won't meet him. Just let me see him," Saying this, Myra left the room hurriedly. She went directly to the Gym. As she thought, he found him there.

He was punching his punching bag. He had removed his tux and shirt. His bare upper body was sweating laboriously.

She whispered, "I'm sorry. I can't see you alone. I want someone in your life, and she will be the perfect bride for you because I know her. She lied but trusted me; she was not a bad girl like her. I will not let history repeat itself."

She made her way to Elaina's room. She knocked on it and clicked the knot to open it. The door was not locked, so she got in.

Seeing Myra at the door, Elaina got up and swallowed hard. She was still in her bridal costume. She was also lost in her deep thought.

"You know why am I here? Tell me, why did you lie about my son?" Myra sternly asked, and there was apparent anger in her every word.

"Ji... I..." Elaina stammered and looked here and there. She was looking for an answer. She knew that this would be asked of her at any time.

"Why?" Myra folded her arms and stood before her, peeking straight into her eyes.

Myra repeated in a high tone, "Why?"

"Will you speak up?"
