9 Secret

"How can you be a mafia?" Elaina was still stuck at that point. She doesn't move here and there. He stands before her and wishes to say something. However, he hates women, and currently, he tolerates the tantrums of a lady because she finds his secret.

He regrets visiting that person and punishes them in the open place. He owns the forest area; his secret home is built there. Blackie lives there and keeps his estate safe. Then, how can this stupid girl come there?

He exhaled deeply and rolled his head with irritation. He licks his dried lips and finally speaks with this girl.

"Your family is full of the mafias, and you..." The man is frustrated beyond the limit. He tolerates a girl around him as the more significant thing.

"I can't marry a mafia. I was running away from the mafia, and how could God prank me like this? This is not fair," Elaina cries dramatically. Does she regret her decision?

"Now, keep quiet and don't say this to anyone," The man hardly says this to her. He never requests, he only releases words, and they become rules.

His secret was hidden till today when Elaina found him. She raises her hands in the air and scratches her face. She cried, "How can you be the Mafia?"

"You are kidding. It might be a dream," Elaina scratches her hair and tries to clear her brain.

"Fine, I'm not Mafia," The man shrugs off. His smirk again scared her.

"Wait," Elaina got a spark. She jumps out of bed and asks, "Does your family know about this personality?"

The expression on the man's face changes instantly. The coldness covers his face. His words turn hard toward Elaina. His hands curl into first balls, making the noise of clenching fists. His cold gaze bores Elaina tip to toe.

Elaina shivers and steps back. Thinning her lips, she plasters a fake and vicious smile. She understands why she is here and not at home. She has found a secret gem, the secret of the great Aaron Black.

"So, you need a favor from me," She smirks. His eyes screw her. His arrogant attitude is at its peak. He feels like she mocks him. He stepped rapidly toward her, which was enough to scare her.

"Do you know, little pig, who I'm?" He arrogantly says and inserts his hands into his pocket.

She twitched her lips and asked, "How can you be so arrogant and rude after getting exposed as a mafia?"

She pauses and crosses her arms to her chest, "Mr Aaron Black."

"And how can you be so brave and stupid to call a mafia king arrogant and rude?" Aaron smirks and steps hurriedly to her. Rapidly, she rattles back.

Elaina collects all her strength and argues, "So, if you want me dead, I will be dead."

"Yes, of course." His signature and dangerous smirk shiver her spine.

"But I'm not," She smirks back. She tries to be brave, but his dark aura makes her scared.

"Yet..." He played a pinch, and the black panther entered the room. It slowly growls.

Elaina swallows the lump that forms in her mouth. She jumped back on the bed and looked at the calm animal, which was no longer cruel, but his emerald eyes were enough to make her unconscious. The black panther's dangerous aura is enough to scare anyone. Its sharp teeth are shining like armor.

"Now, If you want to stay alive, be a good girl and keep your mouth shut..." He pauses for a second and sighs, "About my secret."

"If... If... Irefuseu... refuse..." She hardly utters, seeing the live bomb walking towards her. She is about to cry, but still, she shows her bravery against Aaron.

"Blackie..." Aaron smirked and signaled the black panther to jump on the bed. It happens within a few seconds; the giant cat jumps on the bed. Elaina closes her eyes and hides her face. A fearful scream escapes from her mouth. However, her voice choked up under her throat.

To her surprise, she doesn't feel any pain or weight. The next second, she feels the warm breathing of an animal. She feels something furry on her legs. She pulled back her legs and caged them into her arms, locking them. Aaron can hear her heartbeat. A mischievous smile curls up on his lips.

She hears a growl from Blackie. She opened her left eye and looked at Blackie. To shock her, Blackie is snuggling on her legs. It bows and surrenders before her.

"Blackie..." Aaron shouts at his pet, but nothing works. Blackie sits on the bed, showing off that Aaron is no longer his boss.

Elaina raises her head and sees Blackie sitting before her, bowing his head. She pinches herself to check if she has died or not. Her gaze locks with Blackie's emerald eyes. A fantastic bond is established between their eyes. She releases her legs and sits in an Indian style, folding her legs. He crawls to her and snuggles his head into her belly.

Elaina's trembling hands reach for his head; she starts rubbing his fur. It does not smell bad. She cannot smell blood from Blackie. They are lost in their new bond when a roaring sound echoes in the room.

"Traitor..." Aaron shouts.

Blackie roars and stands before Aaron, like he is warning Aaron not to harm her; otherwise, he is here to save her. and starts walking around Elaina like he is here to protect her. Though her body is shivering, Elaina laughs, seeing Blackie's behavior. She covers her mouth and pulls her legs again to her chest, caging them in her arms.

"I have an offer for you, Mr Black," Elaina smirks. She is an evil queen this time. Aaron stares at Blackie, like he is ready to shoot him now.

Aaron remains silent and sharply stares at her. Elaina clears her throat and says, "You have to pretend like a good husband..."

He steps ahead with anger, and she crawls back, swallowing the saliva of fear. She completed her lines, "At home only."

He shakes his head.

"And behave like a gentleman with me," She added.

He raises his brow.

"You will not be cruel to me," She added again.

Aaron stands close to the bed and sneers, "Anything else?"

"I will add according to the situation," She shrugs off casually.

"I will see you, traitor, "Aaron looks at Blackie and turns to Elaina.

"Behave yourself, or I will not think twice before killing both of you," He sneers and walks out of the room.

Elaina sighs in relaxation and says, "Your boss is so cold and rude. He didn't introduce us."

"Hi, I'm Elaina, wife of your arrogant boss," Elaina stops Blackie and starts, ruffling its fur. It sits next to her and growls in reply. She smiles carefree and looks at Blackie with so much love and concern. Blackie sits next to her; Elaina rests her head on its head, thinking deeply about Aaron, Myra, and herself.

She never assumes that she will marry a Mafia king. He is the capo; it is the bitter truth of her life. She doesn't understand yet; how is it possible?

"The group of his name..." Elaina looks at Blackie.

"The Black Panthers, the Italian Mafia..." She looks at Blackie with shock. Her eyes widen with surprise. She doesn't know more about this gang but hears it from her father. The cruelest Mafia group all over the world.

Blackie growls in reply. A shiver ran through her veins. She has jumped into the biggest mud pond, filled with blood. She was still in trauma; how would she hide his secret, and for how long?

She never thought that Aaron would have another personality. She worries about Myra now; how will she react when she learns about Aaron? Every family member's images flashed before her eyes. She asks silently, "How can you do this, Aaron? How did you enter this blood ocean?"

Her assumption is baseless because she doesn't know much about Aaron's background. She remembers every moment when she was searching for Aaron on the internet. Only she knew how much effort she had made in the past to get information about Aaron. She never finds any clue about him being a mafia.

A man in a black uniform enters the room and bows, "Ma'am, your car is ready. Boss orders to leave now."

She gets up, ruffling Blackie. She says, "I hope we will meet again."

She leaned and kissed its forehead. She thins her lips and says, "You are cute. See you, Blackie."

Blackie growls and stops her way. She sighs, sitting before him, "I know, but I have to go."

She raises her hand and says, "Friends?"

Blackie snuggles in her hand. She ruffles her fur and walks out of the room. Her new car is before her. She finds someone sitting in the driver's seat. She leans to see the person. She shouts surprisingly, "You?"

"Yes, ma'am," Nina replies with a sweet smile.

Another man in a black uniform makes her sit in the car. Nina sighs and says, "I'm your driver cum bodyguard."

Elaina is about to ask her, "Does Aaron give this car to her?"

But before she could speak, Nina said, "I'm sorry, Ma'am."

She sprayed something before Elaina's face. Within a second, Elaina lost her senses and collapsed into the car's back seat.

"Be with her and make sure she doesn't go outside without you," Aaron comes from nowhere and orders Nina. She nods and drives a car from the parking zone. She glances at Elaina for a brief second and shakes her head.
