10 Visit to the office

“Hey, Elaina, are you leaving for university?” Myra comes from upstairs and stops Elaina, who is about to leave home.

“Yeah, Mom,” Elaina stops and passes a pretty, yet painful smile to Elaina.

“I got a call from Austin, He forgot his laptop at home. He never brings it home. The last night, he brought it here and forgot it. Will you please, deliver it to the office?” Myra gives a bread explanation to Elaina.

“Office?” Elaina hesitates. She never visits the office premises. Even, she didn't face Aaron for many days. Her last encounter with Aaron was horrible. Aaron’s secret was hard to digest, still, she is trying to keep it secret. Nina is always around her and helps her a lot in everything.

“Yeah, Nina will lead you there,” Myra shrugs off. Myra handed her the laptop bag.

“Okay,” Elaina moves from there.

“Elaina,” Elaina’s legs glued as her ears hear Myra again.

“Why do I feel that you are hiding something from us?” Myra asked with pain. Elaina’s eyes spread as she heard her. She swallows the saliva and searched for a solid excuse to give Myra.

“Nothing, Mom. It's because of the new classes and atmosphere,” Elaina shrugs off. She adds, “Nothing to worry about. I will be fine.”

“Okay,” Myra smiles and added, "Well, I was supposed to go to the office, so I prepare their lunch. Carry the lunch for my stupid husband and sons."

Elaina softly chuckles and nods. The maid came with a bag filled with lunch boxes. Elaina likes the way Myra pampers her family member. Most of the time, she had seen her sending tiffin for her son and husband.

"Take care and make sure my arrogant son and your dumb husband eat," Myra says mockingly. It creates goosebumps for Elaina. Myra adds, "Aaron used to skip his food during work. It is already time for brunch, So you should have brunch with him," Elaina took it as permission to leave, and she left, shaking her head positively. Elaina's heartbeat picked up the race.

As she reached her car, Nina opened the door of the car for her. Elaina says, “We need to visit the office. Dad forgot this home."

Nina bows as she saw a laptop bag and a big tiffin bag in Elaina’s hand. Elaina got in and remembered the day when she met Blackie. It has been many days passed. Aaron didn't come back home. She was still in conflict, "Should I go to meet him?"

"Mom, you don't know where are you sending me?" Elaina mutters silently. Although the fear gawks from her eyes. She feels uneasy and thinks, "Ohh God! How will I go to meet him and ask him to have brunch? I never did it. And he is the capo of the Mafia group. What if his mind changes and he orders his men to shoot me?"

"What happened, Ma'am?" Nina sees her worrying about something. She asks Elaina while looking at her through the mirror.

Elaina comes out of her thoughts and says, "Yeah, a little bit."

Nina softly chuckles and says, "It's the first time, you are visiting the company. Don't be nervous. The boss may be there at this time. You will get a good time with him."

"That is the big problem, Ms Nina," Elaina shakes her head and mutters, which is incoherent. Nina still feels it and asks, "Did you say something?"

"Nope, nothing," Elaina shrugs off. She thinks with a deep sigh, "Ms Nina, we are going to enter in lion's den, where we will visit the lion. No, actually, I'm going to enter there and meet the capo."

After reaching the place, Elaina comes out of the car and looks at the giant size building of the company. She feels like she would lose herself here. She swallows hard, not because of the biggest building of the company but because she is worried about how to face Aaron.

"Elaina, he cannot treat you badly, you have his secret," Her subconscious mind encourages her and a vicious smile spread all over his face. 

Her mind argues rapidly, 'Still be careful, he is the capo of the biggest Mafia group. Don't underestimate him. It was Blackie, who didn't harm you, his men will not think twice before killing you."

Nina leads her inside the building. Nothing was new for Nina. Maybe, she is used to this place. Elaina and Aaron's wedding is not announced yet, so no one knows about them. No one knows who she is.

Nina inquires something on the reception counter and then, leads her toward the elevator. The staff on the ground floor see Elaina tip-to-toe, making her feel like she is an alien. Today, she was looking damn gorgeous in one piece outfit with a black sweater. Light makeup adds a glow to her beautiful face.

The lift stops within a few minutes. Nina leads her in the corridor and says, "Ma'am, you should go by yourself, I'm not allowed to go ahead. You will find, Sir Austin here. There is a conference within a few minutes, so, Sir is here."

This makes Elaina shivers. She nods and tries to pretend brave. She thinks, "Ohh, God! Where will I find Dad and him at this place?"

Elaina got into the main office area, there were a few chambers on that floor. The lift corridor was different side and a separate area. Many people were standing and checking their stuff for the meeting.

"Hey, Sis-in-law," From nowhere, Aiden came and tapped Elaina's shoulder. Elaina jumped at her place with fear. Aiden laughs at her this fearful action.

"Don't scare me, buddy," Elaina sighs and shows him the bags, she carries.

"Ohk, Dad's laptop, give it to me," Aiden grabs it and sees tiffin boxes. He calls someone and asks, "Mr Joseph, take these tiffin boxes to their respective rooms."

Elaina feels relaxed hearing this. It means she doesn't need to visit him today. A pretty smile curls up on her face. Aiden stops Joseph, "Wait."

"Give this one back," Aiden pulls out a box and hands it back to Elaina. He signals Joseph to leave and says, "Don't you like to meet your husband? He is there."

Aiden pointed out toward a chamber. This is the big floor, which contains a few chambers and a few desks outside of the conference room. She looks at Aiden with a plea of showing some mercy.

"Come with me," Aiden leads her toward the chamber. To her surprise, there was no lady on the floor. Everyone stops their work as they see Elaina coming toward Aaron's chamber. Every gaze is dripping her body skin. Elaina can feel their tensed gazes over her.

Suddenly, Aiden's phone buzzes. He pulls out it and hoists it up to his ears, "Hey..."

He only hears a roar from the other side, "How dare you gift someone a phone?”

"Ops!" Aiden chuckles and says, "GO there."

Aiden pointed her to go to the particular chamber. He excused himself from there. It happens all of a sudden, so it was hard for Elaina to cope with the situation.

She looks here and there, it makes her more scared. She thinks, "Why is there no lady?"

She took a few steps when someone stands before her. He is Jose, "Where are you going, Miss?"

"I'm going to meet Aa..." Elaina replies but he cuts him off.

"Aaron Black?" Jose laughs at her. A few employees laugh at her, too.

Elaina rudely nods.

"Hey, guys, she is going to meet the great Aaron Black? Are you a job seeker?" Jose made fun of her.

"I have some work and I'm getting late, so let me go," Elaina tries to ignore him, but he didn't move from her way.

"Work?" Jose smirks and says, "No any woman is allowed to visit the floor, where Aaron Black comes. Except for her mother and sister. Who are you to visit this floor when he is here?"

"No woman is allowed" - These words spark in her brain. That's why, there was no lady on that floor.

"You may leave, or I'm available to have some fun," Jose smirked and licked his lips, making her angry. She hates the way, he looks at her.

Elaina angrily raises her hand to slap this guy, but he holds her hand before it lands on his face.

"Miss beautiful, let's have some fun," His gaze becomes lustful. She feels disgusted. She snatches her hand rapidly when he was about to kiss the back of her hand.

"How dare you bastard?' Elaina roars. Every employee on the floor looks at Elaina, as her sound echoes on the floor.

Jose laughs and says, "Well, Mr Aaron is not interested in any woman, so you have only a few options here. What do you say about me?"

Jose comes close to her, but Elaina steps back rapidly. Her face is fuming with anger. Jose asks softly, changing his attitude, "What's your name, Miss Beautiful?"

Before Elaina could say something, the heavy voice echoes on the floor, making the pin-drop silence on the floor.

"What's happening here?"

A manly husky and deep dominating voice, which sends shivers through everyone's body. It is as cold as usual and angry. Her gaze travels around, she sees all the gazes, which were boring her for a few minutes, become down. No one gazes up to see who there is.

Elaina becomes numb, after all, she is going to face him after many days and she is the one, who blackmailed him to behave gently with her. Elaina feels scared and safe at the same time. Her heartbeat picks up the marathon.

No one raises their gazes due to fear. She shivers hearing his cold voice. She prays to save every creature on this floor. She looks at him and feels like the God of Death is stepping toward her. She muttered, "Of course, he is the God of death."

"Sir, This lady is going toward your chamber. And we all know, no ladies are allowed to visit you. So I stopped her here." Jose explained himself to him.

Aaron coldly looks at Elaina and says, "Turn."

Here it goes, his command makes her jump at her place. She turns to face him. She tries her best to show her self-confidence, but seeing his angry face, everything flies in the air. Through his angry appearance, she loses herself in his look. The perfect jaw with a shaped beard, soft lips with rudeness over them, and the most beautiful blue orbs sends goosebumps to her body.

She falls for his look, every time. How can someone not fall for his charm? Any girl sees him and falls for him at a glance and this man doesn't allow any lady on the floor, where he is present. It hurts!
