Say Yes

Daniel was hugging Crystal like he missed her so much. Crystal was looking uncomfortable, shocked obviously. Nick wasn't shocked at all. He was anxious about Rayan's temperature. He wasn't reacting at all, looking calm. It's unusual.

Rayan inhaled a deep breath and put his clenched hands inside his pockets. As Crystal glanced at him with a sorry look, Rayan blinked his eyes, assuring her with a it's okay look.

Daniel pulled away from her and turned to Alex. "What's up, dude?" Then he smiled at Lily and squatted down in front of Anne. "Hi, beautiful."

Anne grinned. "Hi, uncle. I'm Anne. You're Daniel uncle, right?"

Daniel nodded. "But do I look like an uncle to you?" He pretended to look sad.

Rayan forced himself to laugh. "Daniel."

"Yeah."

"You'll be okay with Alex and Nick in the same room? Or..."

"I'll be more than okay." Daniel cut his words off.
