Amelia's POV
Amelia seat down staring at emotionally at the news paper in front of her, she already has different kinds of things going through my mind right now. "Now you can perfectly understand what I have been trying to keep you away from all this time right? You know how much time you have wasted dreaming of a man that is far more above you level?". Mrs Houston said nodding her head pitifully at her. "But we are meant to be together, I know it. Right from the very first time I saw him on the TV I knew he was mine, and when I asked the deity for a sign to show me that he is throughly mine then that accident happened". Amelia said stubbornly. " The deity Definitely don't lie right? That was a sign right?". She asked Mrs Houston hoping that at least for once she would get encouragement from her. "You this silly girl, will you wake up from your dream, that accident was something that could have happened to anyone, it's nothing close to being a sign. And there is no deity anywhere, and if by any mistake there happens to be a deity I bet he wouldn't spend his time listen to a little jobless girl that won't stop dreaming of a man that is beyond her reach". Mrs Houston said angry, because it was obvious that she wasn't giving up those useless feelings of hers. Amelia looked down on the news paper again, the topic was really getting on her nerves "Handsome, sexy and rich CEO Leo sets to marry the beautiful Addison Armstrong". She knew Addison very well, not that she knew her personally but who wouldn't know her when she is always on the news paper on how rude and bad mannered she treats people. There are always news of her improper or behavioral problems. Simply say it the way . She lacked even common manners that even animals had. She was also awere that there was no love what so ever between Addison and Leo. You can never ever see them in the same gathering, they simply can't stand being under the same roof. Cat and rat. Addison is nothing close to a wife material not even to the almighty CEO himself. This has to be a rumor. If Mrs Houston didn't have it in mind to encourage her then she will just keep her thoughts to herself until she is able to come out with a meaningful plan. Leo's POV "Wait, is it the same Addison I know or is there someone else with that name that I don't know of?". Leo asked in disgust.Ok now.... even though a few minutes ago he was thinking of how his old man never makes an idel decisions, now he was now thinking that it was a wrong thinking .Maybe finally age was now taking over the old man's mind. There was no way on this earth that he would think of that on his normal sense.. "The one and only Addison that we both know. My boy see I understand you have like no interest for marriage, but come on you will be 35 in few months. So I suggest that instead of you being a life time bachelor, you could just do us all a favor and marry someone from a solid background just have an heir to take up from wherever you're going to stop". He said with a grin. " Like you are really serious right now? You clearly know that we both hate taking in same air, I really don't see how this is going to work out". He just stood there for some minutes trying really hard not to get mad at the old man. Looking back at the old man he just couldn't think of doing something that could make him weak, like looking at his face right now you could tell age was really telling " Ok, so if all you need is just an heir to carry on the family name then just allow me pick a bride myself then or is it just Addison that is allowed to bear the family heir"?. He asked obviously trying to mock the old man. "That isn't really funny and obviously being funny doesn't suit you. I don't just want am heir from anywhere like I said, I need a strong heir and Addison is the only one that can give us just that". The old man said with a wink. " I honestly do get what you are trying to say but still that is not enough reason for me to marry that mannerless brat. Well since you were polite about it then I will have to think about it then. So since we are done here I would like to go have some rest".Leo said standing up. " You have nothing to think about big boy, it's in the news already. I already made the decision so am just telling you this now so that you won't have to see it outside first ". " And I really like the part that you think you have a choice in this but am really sorry because you don't". He was really happy with how things turned out. " So does she know about all this arrangement?". He asked quietly obviously trying not to explode. "Well, I personally think that question should be directed to your fiancee dude". He muttered as he walked away. Addison's POV "God forbid. I would rather marry a he goat than marry that self-righteous animal". Addison screamed angrily. " Waw waw.... I think you should calm down sis, he is quite a big catch you know?". Allison said trying hard not to laugh. Addison is 3 years older than Allison. So Everyone sees her as the baby of the house and for such odd reasons her opinion doesn't count but regardless of that she still says what she wants to say. Allison thinks that what her sister needs is a man as kind and rough as Leo to calm her down a little bit. She was just too too arrogant even though no member of the household dared to tell her that to her face. "A catch you say my baby, do you actually realize that even a rotten fish is also a catch, the difference is that it's a useless one". " My baby girl, we all know you are also not the best you know? You are 27 and these character of your obviously won't bring you any good man at all. Why don't you just focus on the bright side of this ". Mr Armstrong said pating his daughter on the head trying to make her see reasons with him " Honey. I honestly don't know why you are making it seem like you are trying to convince her, we have already made the decision and it's already on the news now. So all we need to do now is get ready for our family first meeting with them before the week runs out". Mrs Armstrong said not really wanting her pinion. " So is he aware of this? Did he asked to marry me or is all this just about business?". " Well I think that question should be for your fiancee". They both replied at onceLeo's POV What was going on? "Fiancee? I don't know anything about that." Andrew said with a frown. So her name was Addison Armstrong? She would just remain Princess proud to him. Leo took out his phone and handed it over to Leo who read the headline with a frown before flashing him a grin. "Well, lucky you I didn't murder someone or rob a Bank." He said with a grin making Leo cock a brow. "I don't remotely find this situation funny. And what I find even less funny is finding my fiancee's credit card in your bedroom". Leo said with a frown of disapproval. "'She is really your fiancee?." Andrew asked with a smile before standing up to put on a shirt. Why had she said those things about him in her drunken state? "Yes she is." Leo told him with a blank expression on his face. "'She was very drunk and quite talkative too." Andrew said as he stood by the mirror to brush his
Amelia's POV "Where the heck were you?". Amelia asked Addison hotly the moment she stepped into the office. "Can you reduce your voice please? My head is aching terribly." Addison pleaded. She was wearing sunglasses because of the light which was still affecting her eyes. "What happened to you? What did you do?". Amelia asked closing the blinds in her office so the other staff would not see what was going on inside. "How did the meeting go? Were you able to sign the contract?". Addison asked curiously as she ignored Amelia's question and sipped from the cold cup of coffee on the table. "Yes I did. Now answer my question. What happened last night and why in heaven's name were you not taking my calls this morning?". Amelia asked again as she took off the stiletto heels she had been wearing and paced the office bare footed. "What happened last night? I don't understand your question". Leo asked w
Andrew's POV "I'll just settle for princess proud then. So tell me, why do you want to knock yourself out so bad?". Andrew asked. Addison ignored him completely and without glancing his way she stood up to go inside, she came out with two extra bottles of scotch. "Since you can't afford it, you can keep that one, Just don't touch these ones". She said pointing slowly to both bottles she placed on the ground, before sitting down. "So why are you here?". Andrew asked looking at her curiously. "To drink. Or you're blind?". Addison asked as she opened one bottle and took a long gulp. "I'll like to be alone, so kindly excuse me". She told him turning her back to him completely before she started talking to herself. "Loveth, Victoria and Sofie. You're all evil bitches!". she said holding her heart which was still aching because of the conversation she had heard. She had s
THE ARMSTRONG'S Allison's heart was beating really fast as the cab dropped her in front of her house. What was she going to say she had been doing? She pushed open the door gently and could only hope her mother wasn't in the living room, she wasn't a very good liar and her mother knew that. "You're back? How did it go?" Mrs Armstrong asked making her jump in shock. 'How did what go?'. Allison wondered wildly looking at her father who was watching her. As though he realized she didn't know what her mother was talking about he quickly asked. "Yes, how was the welcome party? It seems everyone gets to have a welcome party these days." Mr Armstrong said with a small smile making Allison smile. "It was fun. I actually had fun." Allison said honestly. "I'm glad you did. I'm sure glad you're growing up now and have abandoned your silly dancing dreams." Mrs Armstrong said making Allison wince.
Andrew's POV Andrew stepped out of the bathroom with the towel in his hand as he dried his hair before walking over to sit on the sofa in his hotel room. He had been unable to sleep earlier so he had decided to go out and start his search for his aunty. The earlier he found her the sooner he could return to his home. He didn't know how he felt about the news of his aunty's death. He hadn't really given much thought to the idea of not finding her alive. He wondered how his grandmother would feel about that. She shouldn't have started this search in the first place. She started too late and now she was only going to get hurt. Maybe her only consolation would be her granddaughter who to the best of his knowledge was still alive. He was supposed to be feeling jetlagged but he wasn't. It was like he was buzzing with excess energy and he needed to knock himself off so he could rest. He pulled a polo shirt over his taut b
Allison's POV After the dancing class Allison stepped out as usual when she believed everyone must have left and nearly jumped out of her skin when she saw Liam leaning against the wall again. She thought they were done with the harassment, so what was it this time? What did he want again? Hadn't she told him where he saw her? Why was he waiting for her again? Was he possibly gay and was interested in her? With slumped shoulders she walked over to where he was standing. She decided she wasn't going to avoid him this time. "What do you want this time?". She asked in a resigned voice. "How old are you?". he asked idly. "I'm twenty-one. Why?". she asked eyeing him suspiciously. He didn't know how to say what he wanted to say, he felt lonely and needed a friend to hang out with. He didn't have much friends because of his condition, People had always seen him as a weirdo especially when he started acti
