CHAPTER 4

Mommy woke me up early the next morning. She almost cried as the stylist fixed my face.

"Mommy stop it. I'm not getting comfortable anymore," I hissed.

She just laughed at me. "You really are a woman now. It feels like it's only yesterday when your Daddy and I are still carrying you, now you are going to build a family of your own,” mom said emotionally.

I just tried to smile at her. As much as I can I do not want to ruin this day for Daddy.

Family? With him?

There was a photoshoot in my room. The photographer took a photo of my gown and other belongings. He do the same with me as I do various poses he like.

Somehow I was happy with my gown, this is also the gown that I want in case I really get married one day.

Simple but elegant.

"My princess," Daddy uttered tearfully as I went down the stairs.

Little by little, tears welled up in my eyes because I could see how happy he was now.

He hugged me tight before kissing me on my forehead. "You are so beautiful my child."

He looked at me seriously, caressed my face before smiling. "Trust me princess, you will be happy with him."

I could only answer him with a raw smile. I don't want to disappoint Daddy, I will do everything for him.

I hope Daddy, I hope so but it looks vague.

I do not know anything about the wedding plans. I also did not bother to ask before so I burst into tears when we arrived at the venue.

This is my dream wedding.

It's a beach wedding with sky blue motif. The surroundings are full of white and blue roses as well as the pathway that I will take my walk. I still want to laugh because even the silly stitch (cartoon character) chair I once thought was now exposed to my eyes. The carpet looks really customized because it have stitch face too.

I turned my gaze to my mother. I know she planned it because I only mentioned it to her when we once talked about it. I whispered thank you to her and she replied me with Iloveyou.

A love song began to play. The people in front of me started to walk forward, Mommy and Daddy approached me as my turn came.

"Iloveyou Mom,Iloveyou Dad," I said then hug them tight.

"We love you too princess.."

We started to walk forward. I could see the happiness of the people around us as if what was happening was so romantic. In front, my groom was waiting, he was standing manly while looking straight at me. I don't know if he's good on hiding emotions or he really doesn't have it all.

I saw how the man next to him tapped his shoulder and whispered something. I think he was almost the same age as him. My fiancé’s forehead frowned slightly as his jaw tightened then whispered back to the man.

The boy he was talking just laughed at him.

Like the normal marriages, my parents gave me to him when it came to the end. I was still a little surprised because I did not notice his parents. Only the best man was there with him.

About an hour passed and it was all over.

I am now married with him.

"You may now kiss the bride."

The other guests almost screamed in delight. I could not keep up with their joy because I was nervous at that moment.

Damn it. I hesitated to face him, my eyes rolled up and down as he lifted my veil. I don't want to look at him because he might think that I am affected by his presence even though it's the truth.

My breathing stopped when I felt his hand on my chin and gently lifted my face. I was deafened by the moment my eyes hit him, it absorbed my soul as if it's entering my mind and body.

It was only then that I realized how beautiful his eyes were, they were green when I stared at them. I really don't like the color green but I don't know why I like his green eyes now.

He clenched his jaw as his eyes darkened with desire before slowly bringing his face closer to mine.

My knees softened as his lips touched mine. I was completely wobbled from standing when he started to move it. I almost thank him for his quick movement when his arms snaked around my waist to support me.

I didn't know that it was so delicious to be kissed or he was just really good on kissing, as if it's taking you to another dimension of the world.

Bitterness ate my feelings when something came to my mind. He slowly finished the kiss, I bent down my head immediately so that our eyes did not meet.

"Is this how you kiss your girls?"

I do not know what stupidity hit me and I said that in front of him. I blushed with shame. Fortunately, the guests immediately grabbed the attention. They applauded happily, it's the only moment that I manage to see them all.

We have our close relatives, as well as my former friends when I was still studying. There are also few people I do not know, maybe they are on my husband's side.

I was taken aback because I did not expect to see the woman he's with yesterday on our wedding today.

She staring, not at me but at my husband.

My husband?

There’s bitterness in my emotion. I maybe his wife on paper but he will never be mine. I peeked at him by my side secretly. I want to laugh because he's also looking at the woman.

He should refused from the beginning on this wedding if he doesn't want to get married. He should fought for the one he really loves.

There was a picture taking after. I want to applaud myself because I am able to smile despite all of the shits that I am feeling.

We moved into the reception area and started eating. Like normal weddings, we also did things that is usually seen on the day like this; quarreling, flying pigeons and so on, there was also a game for girls and boys.

It took few hours before it was all over. I was amazed on the amount of expensive gifts we received, as well as the cash.

So things are like this when you get married? You can really start a good life with your partner with the help of their gifts.

"Always be careful dear. Visit us when you have time," mom said while stroking my hair.

"Be happy," dad uttered beside her.

"I will..”

I'll try Dad.

"Let's go?" he asked before he held out his hand to me.

I hesitated at first to reach out my hand to him. We haven't talked since the wedding end, he just asked me if I like anything when we ate at the reception. I was a little taken aback when he slowly pulled me closer and then wrapped his hand around my waist.

"We're going Mommy, Daddy," he politely said a goodbye.

I didn't say a word until we got in the car.

"Ahmmm. C-Can I know where your condo is?" I asked.

He started operating his car. "Put your seatbelt," he commanded that I immediately complied.

"My condo is in Makati," he added, answering my question earlier.

I did not speak again. While on our way to his place I suddenly felt tired until I did not realize that I had fallen asleep in my seat.
