ANDERSON'S POV

Pain glided through my chest as I thought of what happened at the family function. All that insult from a boy?

"How was I even able to control myself there? I mean, I would have given him the beatings he deserved." I buried my head in the ground while I thought hard about this.

I stared so long at the floor.

Noises came from outside the room. That should be Eleanor who was late for work; she made a lot of noise trying to get herself ready.

I watched Eleanor through the window drive away in a hurry.

"So much pain for her to bear too." I sighed.

She may appear happy, but I know she is very far from being happy.

I got back to the bed and prepared to stay the whole day without doing anything.

I mean, not even calls from the office; I need to take a break.

It's really stressful.

I fell back on the bed after I had watched closer and confirmed that Eleanor had gone to work.
