ROBERT'S POV

Now I would never ignore my instincts, ever again. I trusted Beatrice deeply; I never knew she would be that delusional.

"What was that for?" My teeth clenched together.

"I...I...she..."

"When did you become a stutter?" I frowned.

"I was just serving her what she deserved." She jumped almost immediately.

"What she deserved?" My eyelashes fluttered a million times. I don't know what to think at this moment. I mean, I feel like punching her in the face to receive some sense, but then I need her alive.

"Are you aware that if anything happens to her, Anderson would jail us both? I'm not even sure Papa would stand with us on this one." My mouth was almost biting her ears off.
