CHAPTER 5: BRANDED MORE

last update Last Updated: 2025-05-27 21:44:15

The ceiling is too white when my eyes open.

It blurs, then sharpens again as I blink hard and that notice my throat is dry and my body feels oddly heavy.

A clean, sterile scent fills my nose with the familiar scent of antiseptic from the infirmary.

I try to sit up, but something warm grips my wrist.

"Don't move."

It's Fenric’s voice sounding all possessive and I turn my head to see him sitting beside me with his dark brows pulled hard together like he’s ready to fight.

His other hand clamps around my wrist tightly like he’s afraid I’ll vanish.

“She’s awake,” Orien says from somewhere near the foot of the bed. His voice is lower and, smoother, but sounds just as possessive.

Having seen the two, I turn my neck, searching for Nyall, instinctively wanting to see all three of them, and see him standing stiffly at the far end of the room with his arms crossed over his chest.

His gaze meets mine, but it's so intense that I have to look away.

“Why…” My voice is hoarse so I stop and clear my throat then try again.

“Why are you all here?”

Fenric leans in, brushing a strand of hair from my forehead, “Because you fainted. That damned ceremony turned into a warzone because you’re ours.”

I freeze.

“No,” I whisper, shaking my head. “I—I didn’t —”

“You don’t choose the bond,” Orien says gently cutting in as if he already knew what I was going to say again.

“It all of us.”

Nyall finally moves, although his jaw is clenched hard.

“And we’ll figure it out, but right now, your only job is to rest.”

He's talking but I'm not completely listening to what he's saying.

They’re all so close, so close that the heat from their bodies wraps around me drawing me in.

Something inside me tightens.

A sweet ache that makes no sense starts low in my belly and I remember how they touched me at the ceremonial ring.

'I want them to touch me again', I think before I can stop myself and my eyes widen.

What’s wrong with me?

I pull the blanket up to my chin, trying to disappear into it away from the bad thoughts I'm having.

“I don’t understand any of this,” I whisper, telling them how I feel.

“You don’t have to,” Orien says. “Not right away.”

Fenric then moves to sit on the edge of the bed with his thigh brushing against mine.

“We’re not going anywhere.”

A soft growl vibrates through the room and I realise it's from Nyall.

His eyes move to Fenric. “Get off the bed.”

“Don’t start,” Orien warns, going in between them. “She just woke up.”

“She’s mine,” Fenric says.

“She’s ours,” Nyall corrects.

The growl becomes louder and I sit up fully, feeling my heart begin pounding.

“Stop it! All of you!”

They stop, probably because I'm shouting from the first time, but it's all because I'm confused.

“I can’t think with you three growling over me...,” I rasp. “I need to breathe.”

There's silence for a while but then they surprise me back taking a step back, although reluctantly.

Just then from outside the room, people coming to see their sick loved ones start to gossip to them about what happened at the courtyard.

... And because the infirmary has thin walls with no special substance to dull our wolf hearing as in the Alphas' rooms, I hear everything they discuss

“…never seen a bond like that before…”

“She’s dangerous I tell you. You should have seen it happen.”

“She’s just an Omega, how can she survive it?”

“Or maybe she’s not.”

"What do you mean?"

"Haven't you heard of a Royal Omega? It seems you're the one who needs to stay in this infirmary and not me."

“…Royal Omega? That’s just a myth."

"I don't think it's a myth, it's just that no one’s seen one in more than a hundred years…”

I flinch at the last person's sentence.

Royal Omega; I’ve heard of them before— in the secret stories, older pack members said was whispered by elders around fires.

They say Royal Omegas are rare Omegas born with divine blood, with magic that could beat Alphas or collapse packs, but those were legends.

Weren’t they?

The door to the room I'm in creaks open, and the High Priestess enters.

Her robes trail across the floor as she walks to my bedside, nodding slightly to the triplets, who tense at her like territorial beasts.

“I need a moment with her,” she says.

Nyall’s lip curls into a snarl. “No.”

“She’s under our protection,” Fenric growls.

“I won’t hurt her,” the Priestess says softly. “But I will speak with her. Alone.”

Orien’s eyes move to mine. “Do you want us to go?”

I pause for a second or two, then I nod my head at them.

They too also pause for a while and Fenric growls low under his breath, but finally, they leave the room with heavy reluctant footsteps and the door closes behind them.

The High Priestess go over to sit on the stool beside my bed.

“Do you know what you are?” she asks quietly.

My chest tightens at her words. “I’m an Omega.”

“You’re more than that,” She says and leans in.

“You felt the pull, didn’t you? Not just one mate but three. Do you know what kind of power that bond requires? What kind of blood?”

I say nothing but continue to look at her then she continues.

"Royal Omegas haven’t been born in generations. Most think they were wiped out because they were too powerful and too uncontrollable. That is why the Moon chooses them sparingly.”

I shake my head. “That’s not me. I’m not... I’m no one.”

She studies me. “That’s what makes it so dangerous. The Lord Alpha is already panicking and pack members are whispering. If word spreads and other territories learn a Royal Omega exists—every kingdom will want you.”

“What do I do?” I ask because sincerely I want to know; I'm very confused by all these.

“Stay quiet young one, and stay hidden. Let us figure this out.”

“Us?” I ask carefully.

Why would anyone help an Omega?

She stands up from the small stool “I’ll do what I must to protect the balance of this pack.”

What she said should comfort me but there’s something though in her voice now that makes my skin crawl.

However before I can think too much about it she leaves.

  • CLAIMED BY THE SAVAGE TRIPLET ALPHAS   CHAPTER 41: FRACTURED HARMONY

IRYN'S POV It's been days after Orien and Nyall's fight, now my bond with my three mates has become more... complicated. Fenric’s aggression has increased, Nyall’s becomes possessive, and Orien... well...Orien's more flirty, although my wolf tells me that seductive is the right word to use. As for me I... I've been... idle.I'm not proud of it but I can't exactly do anything about it because neither of my mates would let me do anything.I tried voicing my opinion but it always ends with them tucking me back into bed.Goddess I can't stay in bed or in that room anymore. My back hurts from laying down all the time; I need... some movement. It's early morning so none of them are around now to stop me from heading out; Orien told me they had to do some pack duties.I wonder if it's boring considering how hard he rolled his eyes when telling me.Surely it can't be as boring as staying in the same room for over two weeks straight.I sigh; it's been that long already since I came here.

  • CLAIMED BY THE SAVAGE TRIPLET ALPHAS   CHAPTER 40: BERATING THOUGHTS

NYALL'S POVFenric was right, Orien is being selfish.I rub my thumb across my knuckles, trying to ease the pain Orien had punched in there.I heal fast so there shouldn't be any visible bruise by now, but it still hurts. What the hell is wrong with him?If he doesn't care about what I and Fenric feel in this bond, then he should think about our mate. How could he try to mark her first, that too while she was injured?I'm furious as hell, and I absolutely want to go back and punch again, then beat him to pulp this time. Perhaps then it would put some sense in him.Heaving, I stop walking and put my palm flat against a pine tree. It's bark bites at my skin, but I don't pull away, instead I press harder.Perhaps the pain will cool my anger. The amount of rage I'm feeling now is so much and totally unlike me.Iryn stirs me a lot; everything about her in fact."She doesn't realise how much I care about her," I mutter to myself, leaning my head down to rest on the back of my palm that's r

  • CLAIMED BY THE SAVAGE TRIPLET ALPHAS   CHAPTER 39: REMEMBERED WORRIES

FENRIC'S POVI remember the way her eyes were not... Omega- soft.Hell they weren't pleading or shy, or confused. They were fixed, and angry.Fuck, that was probably why that Elayne screamed in fear before I pried my lovely mate's fingers off.... And my wolf and I liked that sound.“She pinned a Beta,” I say under my breath. “Easily.”“If I hadn’t reached her,” I tell the empty armoury."she would have killed Elayne.”It stupefies me, and yet it doesn’t. I'm fucking proud my mate is no weak werewolf and I'm not sorry for the Beta at all. But, I'm... afraid. It's a strange feeling for me, but I feel it all the same.Neither I nor Nyall and Orien saw any signs of her strength. What if it's side effect of that witch's spell? And what if it eats her up from inside?Fuck knows I don't want to be admiring a haggard witch's spell while it hurts Iryn.Settling the now sharpened knife down, I scrub both palms over my face and through my hair.“We need to do something about that witch’s spe

  • CLAIMED BY THE SAVAGE TRIPLET ALPHAS   CHAPTER 38: FENRIC AT THE EDGE

FENRIC'S POV “I can't believe I’m being the responsible one now.” Muttering, I look down at the blade in my hands. The fight between my brothers is still on my mind, and I can still smell it in my shirt even after I stripped and washed.I couldn't really stand being near them again and play the calm, good...Urgh, the thought of that alone is disgusting to me.I'm wild, and I like myself that way. It's Nyall's job to be the calm one.Right now I'm in the armory, a place I often come to------ more often than my brothers do.Rows of spears are arranged in a straight line opposite me, while I busy myself with sharpening the knife in my hand with a whetstone.I'm glad that Iryn’s okay, but I smelled Cormac’s back there in the healing room; that means he must have attacked her.I'm not fully sure what happened but I'll ask Orien about it later. How does that bastard always manage to disturb our mate?First it was in her dreams, now it's physically.Worst, the bastard has a very sticky sc

  • CLAIMED BY THE SAVAGE TRIPLET ALPHAS   CHAPTER 37: INTERVENTION

ORIEN'S POV We crash across the room in a tangle, hitting surfaces with our shoulders. Both our claws are extended, but we don’t fully shift------ regardless of how large the room is, it’s too small a space for both of our wolves to fit in.However but our wolf is visible in our arms, our knees and our feet; so we're half shifted.“Stop it!” Iryn cries again. She doesn't like what we are doing, and if it wasn't that obvious before, it's obvious now with how the mate bond lashes at me, causing pain to kiss the back of my eyes. Blinking, I turn to take a look at her but then Nyall buries me again with his weight. He tries wrapping his arm around my shoulder and waist to take me to the floor, but I twist, sending both of us to slam into the table where she's sitting. It groans and slides a bit, causing the salve jar to shake, and I plant a palm in the center of his chest and shove. However he catches my wrist quickly and barrels forward, sending both of us to go down, hard and roll

  • CLAIMED BY THE SAVAGE TRIPLET ALPHAS   CHAPTER 36: BROTHERS AT WAR

ORIEN'S POV The door doesn’t creak.Unfortunately when I do take note of the sound, Nyall is already inside the room. His eyes take in everything at once, the uncapped salve jar, the wet clothes, my hands still resting on Iryn’s waist and her palms, Iryn’s flushed throat, the heavy heat of our breaths and worst of all, the scent of our arousal still hanging in the air.His face twitches.“Orien,” he says and Iryn flinches instantly, causing my hands to fall away from her. “We talked, didn't we?” Nyall says as a matter of fact, stepping farther inside and shutting the door behind him. “We decided to hold on with touching her until chooses one of us to be first.” His gaze moves to Iryn then, softens for just half a breath, and then returns to me. “And yet you chose act how you liked.”“I didn’t-------” "Did you mark her?”“No,” I snap, partially because that’s true and it stings at me just the same.“Did you try?”“Nyall-------" Iryn starts but he shakes he's head at her, althoug
