A Strong Impression

Hannah's POV

The ball quickly turned boring for me. I had never been a fan of formal gatherings and, quite sincerely, have barely ever attended much, as my family never loved me enough to take me to one. When I ended up not having a wolf, their hatred almost doubled, and I was treated like the shame of the family.

What kind of werewolf didn't have a wolf form?

It was unheard of.

I was like something they needed to hide.

"Do we have to keep staying this long?" I asked with a sigh as my brother, Silas, pulled me yet to another gathering he was cajoled into attending.

"Normally, no," he replied. "But you're the one who said you needed to get some fresh air. I'm trying to get us some. This ball is the perfect opportunity to stay away from the pack."

Despite being the daughter of an Alpha, I never felt like I belonged anywhere.

My father, Alfred Boon, Alpha of the Crimson Veil Pack, did his best to make his scorn known to me. My mother was more or less ashamed of me, and almost all of my s

  • COME BACK OF THE SCARFACE PRINCESS    The Alpha's Judgement

Dravin's POV I watched, amused, as Kael paled at my words. Words that he must have dreaded since the day he got my invitation. It was both amusing and annoying. His reaction was amusing, but the fact that he thought he could hide his atrocities from me was more annoying than I thought. Had I been belittled that much by the older generations in my absence? How did he expect that I would leave them unsupervised while slaving away to help them resolve their differences? Raymond, on the other hand, was quite calm even as I said those words. He wasn't in the wrong, and he was sure of it, so he saw no reason to be agitated. "I...."His words trailed off as my gaze slowly turned cold. My eyes were already glowing, but this time they intensified. I could almost taste his fear. "You let my messenger die?" Raymond said after a few minutes of silence. "If you were watching, then you knew he would die. You simply let him die."I turned to glare at Raymond, a bit of disgust creeping into

  • COME BACK OF THE SCARFACE PRINCESS    Disobedience Has A Price

Kael's POV I couldn't help but shiver as I went over to find Raymond, who stood at the opposite row from mine, his table only a few paces from the Demon Queen. She was seated with her parents, and as I stared at her, I locked eyes with her father, the Alpha of Stormclaw. Alpha Darius glared at me from above his daughter's head but made an effort not to let her realize. I was quite grateful for that and avoided his glare as quickly as I could. What I needed to do right now was find Raymond and make sure both of our stories aligned. I sighed as I wondered what on earth I had gotten myself into. Raymond was seated with his wife, chatting away with a man I didn't recognize as I approached his table. His Luna saw me first, and the look in her eyes was pure malice and hatred. She was so angry that her brown eyes glowed, and she unleashed a bit of her bloodlust, alerting almost everyone within her immediate vicinity. When they turned in her direction and saw that it was aimed at me, t

  • COME BACK OF THE SCARFACE PRINCESS    A Request From The Unwanted

Dravin's POV After the speech, I was required to say more, as Soren had painstakingly prepared my speeches and drilled into me the importance of those speeches. But I ignored them in the end. I don't need to personally acknowledge a pack or two and help their ego or standing among others and all of that crap. I don't need to say words of encouragement to my subjects just to get them to feel a little better about themselves. If any of them have an issue, they can always come take it up with me. Once the announcements were made, I gave everyone permission to enjoy the festivities as I stepped away with Elora, since she seemed so eager to say a few things. The dais was a simple large platform with only two chairs meant for both me and Elora, but stretched backward beyond the light, shrouded by darkness and out of earshot for any other werewolf that isn't me. Knowing Elora, I could tell that she could barely contain it within her. I resisted the urge to chuckle. That is so like..

  • COME BACK OF THE SCARFACE PRINCESS    A New Era

Ava's POV I watched Dravin stare calmly at me as I strolled out of the rows that are now on his left, since he was now standing on my dais and addressing the guests. My stride was calm, poised, and confident. Despite my size, I made sure I carried a visible grace and elegance with every step. Regardless of my scar, my very presence exudes royalty. I might have to thank Fiona, the head maid, and Lyanna for whipping me up into enough shape that I don't disgrace myself in public. My blue eyes held confusion as I approached him, unsure that he was indeed calling for me. "There you are," he said with a cold smile as he offered me a hand, which I cautiously took as I ascended the dais. His eyes never left mine as I tried to discern his motives before he could say them out loud. In response, all he did was stare at my figure in front of him as I reached the top of the dais. My eyes had a question in them, but he wasn't giving me any time to indulge myself and ask them."Ladies and ge

  • COME BACK OF THE SCARFACE PRINCESS    A Father's Duty

Ava's POV I could feel my fury burn brightly and become a smoldering inferno. It was scorching, burning through whatever restraints and good memories I must have built up through the months and weeks since I’d been reborn. If I had spoken to them for even a second longer, I would have let more malice seep into my voice than was appropriate for their actions."Elora. Elora," Elora's mother, my mother, called as I pulled her through the crowd. "Elora, where are we going?""To see the Alpha," I said through gritted teeth as we wove through the tables."He would be sad if he heard you say that," she said softly. "And we’re in the wrong section."I paused at that."What?"She gave me a warm look."Our table is on the right wing. I was wondering where you were taking me."I stared at her in utter embarrassment for a few seconds, wondering what it would look like if I turned out of this section and headed to the next, seemingly having lost my way."Are you perhaps lost, Luna?" Lyanna’s voic

  • COME BACK OF THE SCARFACE PRINCESS    Crawl For Forgiveness

Dravin's POV The silence was palpable. It ran so deep that it seemed everyone forgot to breathe. Their eyes were both wide and confused, staring at me like they were looking at some otherworldly being. An impossible being.I said nothing as well, staring at them for a few more minutes."So?" I asked calmly. "Am I supposed to start slaughtering you all to get the truth out of you?"That seemed to startle them even more as they immediately broke out of their shock into a frenzied investigation.Accusations were thrown as some of them tried to blame their rivals, and some others tried to blame anyone but themselves. It was a mess.It surprised me as well. Alphas of the old were a lot better than this. More honourable, I would say."I don't have all day," I said as I strolled into the ballroom. Every step I took, everyone on both sides bristled. When I got to the middle of the room, I turned to the arrangement of tables at the left."I have great hearing," I said calmly. "Even better tha

  • COME BACK OF THE SCARFACE PRINCESS    Mock Her And Die

Ava's POVI took my time dressing up.I couldn't be sure if it was because I wanted to look my best—whatever that may look like—or because I was too nervous to bring myself to leave my room. So I stretched my outfitting for as long as I possibly could, visibly annoying Lyanna. She was dressed long before I was, since I insisted that she did, and was helping me with my dress as I also insisted that only she could help me dress up."Delaying isn't going to stop you from going there, Luna," Lyanna finally said as I stood in front of the mirror, looking over my outfit for the tenth time already. "The Alpha would be livid if you don't attend.""I will attend," I said as I rolled my eyes. "But the less time I have to spend there, the better. Besides, as the Luna, I am allowed to be fashionably late."Lyanna sighed but said nothing in response as I turned my attention to the mirror. My dress was a beautiful blue with crystals lining the sides, causing it to sparkle whenever it was in line wi

  • COME BACK OF THE SCARFACE PRINCESS    Not Just Another Princess

Dravin's POV My office was dark. It was well past 8:00 p.m. by now, the sun was down, and the festivities had begun. Sat alone in the darkness, I stared at the door. My incredible eyesight, of course, sees everything as clear as it would have been during the day, even as darkness covered me like a shroud. This was tiring. This ball was the first one of its kind. The only ball I've hosted for this purpose. That's the problem. The problem is the fact that I have no idea how to handle this. This is the first time I've been in this situation. A knock on the door, and Soren was inside before I could reply. "Do you ever wait until I actually give permission?" I asked with a sigh as Soren strolled over to the seat in front of my desk. He also didn't bother with the lights, as there was no reason to. "If you wanted to bother with permission, then you would have kept it locked," he said as he sat down. "How's the ball going?" I asked. It's been thirty minutes since it started, and
