MICAH.

I stared at him.

The command hovered between us. I was still pressed against the wall. My wrists hurt from the way he had grabbed them just seconds before. His eyes never wavered from mine.

"Get on the bed."

Before I could process the words, my feet were moving. I got to the bed and sat on its edge. The mattress gave slightly beneath my weight. My hands lay on my thighs, but they would not remain still.

Blaze made his way across the room in three quick steps and stopped in front of me. H

BLAZE.He didn’t in fact watch the movie. His eyes darted sideways. I closed my fingers around his form through the clothes and squeezed lightly. He gasped sharply and shifted in the seat. I traced him slowly through the jeans, feeling him harden in my palm. The denim was hot. The contours of his erection became sharper with every touch of my hand. I unzipped him one tooth at a time, as he sat still, fighting to remain silent. His eyes were no longer watching the movie. I slid my hand inside his unzipped fly, touched the soft fabric of his underwear and slipped my fingers underneath. Hot skin. Already half-hard and growing even harder. I grabbed him firmly and started jerking in long, steady motions. The pre-come came from him in a second, wetting the tip. I smeared it with my thumb, keeping the rhythm consistent. "Blaze... someone might walk in," he whispered, voice shaking. "You scream, I take you. Got it?" He nodded once, sharply and desperately. I kept the pace unhurried.

BLAZE'S POV I had already pulled on the dark hoodie and the nose mask was up over the bottom half of my face by the time he was done cleaning up. It felt heavy on my shoulders. I checked the injury one last time in the bathroom light. The skin had healed much more than I had anticipated. Tight and pink. Almost ready to leave the bandage behind for good.I did not want that day to come. The bandage was the only concrete justification I still had to be under his roof without making it known. Without it, I would have to think of something else, and thinking of something around Micah was always more expensive than it needed to be. I pressed two fingers against the edges of the tape and left it be.I still hated him for leaving. This had not changed in all those years since the funeral. Three years of silence after the funeral. Three years of nothing. The hate stayed right where it had always been. But the rest of it did not move either. The need for him to be close. The need for him to b

MICAH He sucked harder. His fist moved faster. The sounds became louder. The precum lubricated his hand. He used it.My legs tried to close themselves but he pushed them further apart using his free knee and held them that way. I was totally open to him. Tied. Exposed. The only parts of my body that touched anything were his mouth on my chest and his hand on me.The pressure increased fast right at the base of my spine. It tightened with each thrust. My stomach muscles tightened. My toes curled inside the sheets."Blaze…I'm going to—"He pulled his mouth off my chest just enough to say something against my skin."Do it."His hand twisted again and his thumb dragged harshly over the very sensitive head. That was all it took. The orgasm hit me hard. My back arched so hard that the belt stretched. A loud scream escaped from my mouth. The hot spurts splashed over his hand and my stomach. He continued pumping me through the orgasm, squeezing out every drop until my body spasmed with overs

Silence stretched between us."Lie down."I did as he said. My head hit the pillow. The sheets were still scented with his smell from last night. My heart pounded against my ribcage so hard that I was sure he could hear each beat.Blaze climbed on the bed after me. The mattress gave under his weight. He knelt between my legs. One of his hands was already making its way up my body. "B-Blaze… what… what are you doing?" My voice broke on the words. The question sounded weak an

BLAZE Micah tried to run at first light.I heard the careful sounds of him dressing in the bathroom, the soft click of the front door. I let him reach the sidewalk before I stepped out behind him.“I hate to break it to you, priest, but the hospital’s the other direction.”He spun. Color flooded his face. “I–I have early confessions.”I loved it when he blushed. “Did you sleep well?”He nodded, avoiding my eyes.I inhaled softly and bit down on my lip. He had another dream. This was getting interesting. But I wanted to hear him speak. His voice was a melody to my soul. “You’re lying.”His finger twitched at his side, starting a circle, then stilled. He refused to talk.I closed the distance, took his wrist, and turned him back toward the housing unit. Not hard. Just certain. He could have pulled free. He did not.Inside, I backed him against the closed door and pinned both of his wrists above his head with one hand. The other settled at his throat, not squeezing, only resting there

MICAH.The question landed like a slap. My mouth opened. Nothing useful came out. “N-no. I– it was– I don’t remember dreaming anything. I never… I mean people dream all kinds of dreams– it doesn’t mean—” I was drawing a circle on my thigh with one finger before I even realized it. His eyes traced them and I snatched them back like it had burned me. My face felt so hot I wanted to press it into the floor. Every word came out broken, pitched too high, stumbling over the next. I sounded exactly as stupid as I felt. Blaze’s eyes dropped. I followed his gaze before I could stop myself. The front of my sleep pants was darker than its regular shade with a large, unmistakable wet patch. The evidence of everything the dream had done to me sat there in plain view, slick and damning. Something inside my chest collapsed. I lunged to my feet so fast the room tilted, snatched the first pair of clean pants I could reach, and bolted for the bathroom. I slammed the door, locked it with t
