Eight

"Do you want a new car? A new mansion? Do you want to get married to someone? Or do you want to ruin someone's wedding day? Get ready I will do all that for you, just listen to Daddy and get your wound treated."  Cole pleaded desperately.

Charity sat with her back placed on the bathroom door, a creepy smile hanging on her lips. She had gotten what she wanted, all she wanted was for her father to make a promise to her. If he promised her then she was certain she would get the man she wanted. 

"Do you promise to do anything I ask Father?" Charity questioned making sure to get her facts right. Cole sighed, his daughter was the only precious person in his life. She was the only one he had after her mother died, he was willing to fulfill all her wishes to keep her happy.

"Yes, Charity dear. I promise to do anything you want me to do, just tell me and stop hurting yourself. If you keep hurting yourself then I will be a bad father and not a good father, come on out and see Daddy. I feel so scared." Cole remarked with a smile.

The maids and the butler standing outside all sighed when they saw the amount of glass that was broken in the room, every piece of valuables was broken by the young Mistress. 

"Get the broom and the basket so we can take away all the shards of glass from the ground. And you get the first aid box from the living room, add a bowl of water to it too." The bulter ordered the two maids and they nodded their heads immediately getting to work. 

The butler stepped into the room, bent down, and began picking up the broken shards with his hands and moving them to one side of the room.

The car stopped outside another house that looked no less than a mansion but it was much smaller in size and the decorations were more simple than the ones that were in the previous mansion. While Ariel was busy admiring the beauty of the mansion, she forgot to climb out of the car.

Dylan stood by the mansion door ready to walk in when his eyes fell back on the car, the woman was still stuck inside the car. He wondered he she had a phobia for mansions that she refused to climb down from the car, he turned back and walked towards the car.

Ariel was taken out of her thoughts by the soft knocking from the windows, she got startled and moved back. Her eyes fell on Dylan inquiring why he knocking on the door, she hesitantly opened the car door and climbed out of it.

"Do you have a phobia of mansions? If you do then I will gladly help you get rid of it because you are going to be living here from now on." Dylan muttered staring down at the short woman.

"What do you mean staying here? I can't live here, I live with my mother and son. I do not want to stay here especially not with you and without my son too." Ariel remarked folding her hands across her chest in determination.

She was once part of those who lived in a mansion but the life of living in the mansion disgusted get to bits now. She felt the mansion was a place where hypocrites and liars all reside. 

"You do not have to worry about that. I have that covered for you, your mother and son will live here with us too." Dylan proposed with what looked no less than a scary smirk on his face.

"What? What do you mean they will live here too? No no no, I do not want to stay here. We can't stay here." Ariel remarked with a frown on her face, her mother was too fragile to go through living in a mansion once again like in the past.

While Dylan and Ariel were busy bickering and arguing, another car drove into the mansion and stopped right in front of the couple's car. A guard climbed down from the driver seat and then walked around to open the back door.

Joey climbed out of the car with enthusiasm, his eyes sparkled while he took in the beauty of the mansion. He had never seen a house as big as this. Ariel's eyes fell on her son paddling his little feet on the ground.

Ariel rushed to her son immediately and held him in his hands, she patted his head softly with a smile on her face. "My little prince, why are you here? Didn't I tell you not to follow bad uncles? Where is Grandma?" Ariel inquired looking into the car.

Joey flashed his mother a baby grin. "Mummy! He is not a bad uncle, he is a good and friendly uncle. He promised to bring me to you and take me to my daddy too, he also said my daddy has lots of cars I can play with." Joey responded with sparkling eyes.

Dylan stood with his hands behind him while he watched the mother and son, he had seen the boy from afar in the past and the boy was an exact copy of him. He looked just like him.

"Still you should not have followed him, do you know if he was lying and then instead of bringing you to me he kidnaps you and take you away from me? What will you say then?" Ariel inquired rubbing her boy's head.

"He did not kidnap and that's it. If I was kidnapped then I wouldn't be here, mummy not everyone is bad. Where is my daddy? I want to see him now." Joey remarked acting a lot more mature than he was.

"You don't have to worry about your daddy, don't you love your mummy? I am your mummy, you do not need a daddy for you okay? Come on let's go." Ariel muttered turning around to pull the boy away from the mansion.

"I am here Joey.”
