The giant steel vault continued rising from beneath the forest. The ground shook as thick layers of dirt and broken roots slid away from its sides. It looked old, but its metal surface was spotless, as though someone had been taking care of it for years.

Everyone stood frozen. Even Commander Hayes stared at it with surprise. Victor slowly whispered, "I never thought I would see it again."
