I folded the last warm sweater into my leather travel bag just as the heavy bedroom door swung open with a loud thud.

Kurt walked into the room, and the furious expression on his handsome face made my heart skip a fast, terrified beat.

His jaw was clenched very tight, and his broad shoulders carried a massive amount of tension as he locked the door behind him.

"What is wrong?" I asked quickly, dropping the bag onto the bed because I knew something terrible just happened downstairs.
