Aiden’s POV: “Aiden… What’s wrong with you?” Dylan got restless and immediately ordered the servant to clear up the mess I created. “Dylan… Do not piss me off by talking about her” I said bitterly. “Aiden… you need to talk about her. Why is she getting on your nerves? Why is she bothering you so much?” Dylan raised his voice a little. “Yes. Why can’t you just ignore her?” Mason asked me. “How can I ignore her?” I shouted and stood up from the couch. “I tried. Okay? You guys told me to forgive her and I did. But she does not deserve to be forgiven. She deserves to be tortured and tormented” I added. “Aiden… You are over reacting over a small thing” Dylan accused me. “Really? Am I? If you think so then fine. I am over reacting and I will continue to react over her tactics which she, by the way, is doing deliberately” I shouted. “How are you so sure about that?” Dylan defended her. “I am sure about that. She is one of those kind of girls who try to act silly and innocent to get c
Emily’s POV: As my hand hit the bed side table, I squeezed my eyes and then swung them open, letting the sunshine kiss my cheeks and soothe me all over. Smiling brightly, I stretched my hands and legs, letting all the worries and stress to slip down from my body and leave me. But it came running back and hit me, making me open my eyes wide. I breathed heavily and thought about the day. I thought about how Aiden would behave that day and whether he would forgive me for his phone. Although I knew his phone was all okay and he was just over reacting over a small matter just to torment me and I don’t know why he was doing all that to me. I couldn’t get his behavior. May be he is in some kind of personal stress or whatever which he is trying to let out on me because he met me on the first day. But even if it is the reason then it is not okay to let your frustration out on someone else without any actual reason. I thought. Taking a deep breath, I got up from the bed and headed to my bathro
Emily’s POV: “I am telling you, Mel, he gave me a cold stare when Ryan announced the welcome party. He has something on his mind. I am sure” I whispered to Melissa as our history class got over and we were heading to the library. “Em… You are thinking too much. May be he was just looking at you like that. Not a stare” Melissa said. “No, Mel. That was not just a look. It was a cold stare. Very cold. And evil, too” I said as we walked to the left corridor where the library was located. “Okay. I believe you. So now what are you trying to say then?” Melissa asked me. “So I am saying that I won’t be coming to this party” I said as we entered in the library. “What? Are you insane?” Melissa said out loud. “Excuse me, girls?” Miss Claire, our librarian said. “Keep your voices down, you are in a library, don’t you know that?” She added. “Of course we know Miss Claire” Melissa said and gave a fake smile to her. I wanted to laugh at how she acted and gave the most fakest smile to her but
Emily’s POV: All the students began to look outside the class to see who the new senior was. Apparently, the girls were hoping to see a new guy while the guys were hoping to see a new chic. I was anxious to see who that guy or girl was because my previous experience with the new seniors was not good. “Please welcome our new senior, your new classmate” Mr. Colton said and stretched his hand to his right to allow the new student to come in. To my surprise, a girl entered in, shattering the excitement of all the girls in the class. “Miss Aria Logan, a transferred student from Greenwich High school, Houston” Mr. Colton said. Houston? From where Aiden and his friends came? Yes I am sure! I thought as I watched the girl walking to middle of the class. She looked like someone whom I can talk to and be friends with because she looked nervous and timid. She wasn’t much confident on her entrance. Aria has a beautiful almond brown skin tone which shined magnificently and looked bewitching with
Emily’s POV: We drove to the Herington Mall, which was a huge beautiful architecture made of glass. On the way to the mall, we didn’t talk much with Aria and she kept quiet while listening to Melissa’s stories. As we reached the mall and entered in, Melissa immediately walked to Ms. Kenny’s outlet which is one of her favorite brands, leaving me and Aria following her behind. After buying my outfit from a shop, we were done with all the shopping. “So we are done?” Melissa asked both of us. “Yes. I have my outfit and Aria have hers” I said while Aria kept checking her bag in excitement. “Excited much?” Melissa asked her. “Yes. Actually, you know I never attended all the parties back in my previous school. There they used to have such kind of theme parties but I never attended one. And now here… with you guys… I am going to attend a theme party with such a pretty dress and this is really exciting” She said with enthusiasm. “It must be. You will have so much fun this year with us” M
Emily’s POV: “How is he connected to you?” Melissa asked her. She bent her face down and began to think deeply. “Did he bully you?” I asked her anxiously and she looked back at me as if I said something true. She paused for a while and then added, “No he didn’t” “So then what did he do?” I asked her. She was resisting to speak anything about him but after a while she started. “Have you guys heard the famous story about his previous school?” She asked both of us. “Um… About that guy who fought with Aiden and then that guy went missing…” Melissa started. “And was found dead then” She completed the story. “Yes we have heard it. So do you know anything about it?” I asked her restlessly. “Yes. That guy… who was found dead… was…” She paused and then gulped down after which she added, “He was my cousin, Micah” Her revelation caused me and Melissa to widen our eyes and look at her in horror. “What?” I couldn’t believe her. “But how…? I mean your cousin was in St. Peter’s?” Melissa
Emily’s POV: We came out of the mall after having our lunch and discussing about Aiden. “Let’s go home, now” Melissa said. “Wait… Aren’t we going to have our class in about…” I took a pause and glanced at my wrist watch. “Fifteen minutes?” I added and she rolled her eyes. Sighing, she checked her phone and jumped up in excitement. “It’s cancelled” She said excitedly. “Really?” Aria asked her. “Yes. Check the group” She said and I checked it to confirm it because I couldn’t trust Melissa regarding classes but that day she was speaking the truth. “Let’s go home, now. We must be ready by 8” Melissa informed to both of us. “Okay… I will” Aria said and nodded. “Aria?” Melissa turned to her and added, “Are you going to reach school on your own?” “Um… Yes… My dad will drop me” She said and smiled. “Okay… So Em…” Melissa turned to me and added, “You be ready by 8 and I’ll come to pick you up” “Okay…” I said lazily. After bidding goodbyes to Aria, I and Melissa reached my home.
Emily's POV: I looked at the person coming out of the car and stood there. The man who came out of the car was wearing a black jeans, a black shirt and a black leather jacket on top and was not at all following the theme but was looking gorgeous anyway. As he looked up on me, I saw Aiden Bryce standing in front of me with a cold icy gaze that made me shiver a bit. He deepened his eyes on me and then tilted his face to look at me from up to down while I got uncomfortable. After a few seconds of staring down at my dress, he scoffed and then shook his face, sighing. I wanted to ask him the reason of that weird staring and scoffing while looking at me. "Um..." I started. "Don't you start in front of me" He said bitterly and then rolling his eyes, walked away from there while his three musketeers followed him behind. I turned to Melissa and then said, "What the hell is wrong with him?" "Why is he always so grumpy and rude?" I asked in frustration. "I know..." Melissa turned to me and
