MIRA RETURNS.

Darius’s POV

“Let him go.” I muttered, almost breathless.

My eyes sized the boy up, he wasn't so large and his reason could have been valid, but.. I let myself take over.

I've always been in charge, and not even some boy could change that.

His grandma slowly crawled towards him. She seemed weak and tired while she let the boy rest on her. She stared at the boy for a while and shot her eyes back to me. Words didn't say it, but they burnt in resentment.

And maybe, I indeed felt like some coward. But it didn't matter. Mira was now present.
