Chase

The car rolls to a stop in front of a hotel, and I can see some very expensive cars belonging to other rich members in the parking lot. I open the door and climbs down, followed by my sidekicks.

“Nice evening for a party, isn’t it?” Killian asks, smiling at me but I turn my face away.

“This place is bam” Brian says in a reverential tone, his eyes sweeping around.

He’s right. This is the kind of place average people like him have only seen in movies. A highly luxurious hotel in the capital. It’s his first time attending as a member after his pledge and he is all over the place about it.

“You are getting grumpier by the day handsome.” Trystan gives me a tight side hug. “When last did you get laid?”

Brian and Killian boos, clapping their heavy hands on my shoulder.
