Claire gasped as she entered the room. It was dark with dim lights. Loud music echoed through her eardrums. Her eyes immediately fell on the stage, a girl was on it, she was putting on a red silky dress, it had a split in the thigh. She had dark blonde hair, and a mask on her face only allowing her gray eyes to peek through. She moved her body slowly to the beat before dropping down and crawling
towards the end of the stage.
Men cheered and threw their money at her as she twirled on the long poll in the middle of the stage. The VIP lounge was less crowded and the air wasn't hot or stuffy. The men and women in the room were of high classes, she could tell that a few of them were alphas of different packs.
Cameron and Callan took a seat on the couch in a much quiet place and gestured for her to do the same. She was sandwiched in between their muscular bodies. She tensed as she felt their body pressed against hers on the tiny couch, their close proximity was messing with her senses.
She almost jumped out of her skin when a warm hand was placed on her arm. She turned her head slightly and was surprised to see Cameron giving her an assuring look.
“Relax. We only came here to talk to you. We wouldn't do anything you don't want us to.” His voice was calm, and Claire couldn't help but think about the hidden meaning behind his words.
She cleared her throat. “What did you want to talk about?” She asked.
“I hope you are aware that you must come to our pack with us.”
Claire froze.
She hadn't thought about that. Will she just leave everything behind and move to their pack with them? She didn't think she could do that, it was too soon. She didn't think she was ready to take that step. Was she even fit to be a Luna?
'What do you mean leave everything behind? We don't have anything! We have never been accepted by Alpha Darius and his snubby pack members!' Claire's wolf yelled in her head.
She knew her wolf was right. She and other Omegas of the Night walker Pack were despised by the Alpha and his subjects. Except for his son Daxton, the future Alpha of their Pack, he had always been nice to her. He was the only other friend Claire had after Ashley. He wasn't arrogant and rude like his father.
The harsh truth that she truly had no one except her two best friends hit her hard. She had no other choice but to move to her mates pack and become their Luna.
That's exactly what scared her. Will their pack members like her? Will they accept her as their Luna?
“Claire.”
She was snapped out of her thoughts by Callan's voice. Her name sounded better on his lips and she resisted the urge to agree to everything he said. She turned to them, they were looking at her expectantly.
She breathed in deeply. “Um, C-can you give me some time? I mean, I have to pack my belongings and inform my Alpha.” She said looking at them pleadingly.
Cameron looked like he wanted to protest but Callan shook his head at him before turning to face her again.
“Fine. We would give you two days,no more than that. Or we will be forced to drag you with us, whether you like it or not. You are ours, and you need to get used to it.” Callan ordered, his voice turning deeper than normal.
Claire trembled. Not because of fear but because she liked the idea of being called theirs. Her wolf purred in satisfaction, even if she didn't like the idea of not seeing her mates for a few days.
Cameron stared at her through his long lashes. His eyes that held so many secrets stared at her intensely as if he could see every deepest darkest secret she was hiding. He looked emotionally detached but she knew he couldn't resist the mate bond. She could feel the same connection she felt with Callan buzzing inside of her.
Callan looked deep in thought as he stared into the distance. He was glad that they had finally found their mate. But he wished it would have been at a better time. They were currently at war with the rogues. Rogues are werewolves who were kicked out of packs and lost their human side making them grow feral. the second most vicious pack in the world, the dark moon pack being the first. They were also being constantly attacked by vampires.
The Drengr coven. The coven of vampires. They were known to be the most ruthless vampire coven in the east coast of Romania.
Drengr are the pure bred vampires, they are the first vampires to ever come into existence. They have physical strength and speed, they can also control minds. Ultra violet rays, sunlight, and garlic have no effect on purebloods. They are immortals unlike werewolves who weren't blessed with immortality. Purebloods can only be terminated with a silver stake through the heart and must also be decapitated or they would be resurrected.
Callan knew if the leader of the Vampire coven finds out that they had a mate, he would immediately try to eliminate her. Over their dead body will they allow any harm to come to their little mate.
“Which pack are you from?” Callan was snapped out of his thoughts by Claire's soft angelic voice.
He studied her features as he replied, “The dark moon pack.”
Claire tried to hide her surprise but she failed to do so. The Dark moon pack was the most popular pack, known for having the strongest wolves in the whole world. No one dared to trespass or they were faced with a gruesome death. She had heard rumors of how monstrous the Alphas of the Dark Moon Pack were, she heard they were brutal and hard-hearted.
But that couldn't be true right? Right.
“From your expression, I guess you've heard about the rumors too.” Cameron asked, more like stated in a cold voice, his golden orbs never leaving her face.
She swallowed the lump in her throat and answered, “I'm sure they are just rumors.” She said, trying to sound confident.
Cameron smirked darkly at his naive mate. “Oh, don't be too sure darling. You shouldn't trust so easily.”
What did he mean by that?
“So you're leaving us?” Ashley asked with a pout on her lips. It was the next morning after their night at the club and she had one more day before she left to her mates pack. Claire groaned in annoyance. “For the last time, Ash, I'm not leaving you. We will still get to see each other. It's not like I'm going to die or something.” Ashley didn't look convinced. “But how is it even possible that you have two mates?”She paused for a second, thinking about her friend's words. “I don't know, Ash.” She finally answered. Was the moon goddess playing some sort of trick on her? “And have you heard the rumors about the dark moon pack? They're said to be the most powerful pack in the world. I heard their Alphas are ruthless, they kill without even blinking. I'm worried for you, Claire.” Ashley's voice wobbled, concern written on her face. Claire shook her head not believing what she had said. “That's why it's called rumors, Ash. They might not even be true. Just some cooked up story to mak
After going for a run with her best friends for a couple of minutes. They went to Claire's house and helped her pack, Claire was sad at the fact that all her belongings only contained two suitcases. She never really had anything to call hers, except her clothes. While her best friends were in the room, Claire sneakily walked into her small bathroom and opened the cupboard. She took out a big book and all the accessories she's been keeping for years. She went back to her room, Ashley and Dax were so engrossed in a conversation that they didn't see her as she discreetly put them inside her traveling bag. She felt bad for hiding such a thing from her friends but she didn't have a choice. How could she possibly explain it to them? After a few more minutes, they were done. “You know what you have to do next, right?” Ashley asked with a grin. I groaned. “Yes I know. I need to go ask for the Alpha's permission to leave the pack.” Claire couldn't help but dread the upcoming conversation. A
Callan paced the study room as he ran his hand through his jet black hair. Their mate should have been here by now, and it was evening already and there was still no sign of her. His mind went frantic as different thoughts swarmed his head. Was she attacked on her way here? Did she get lost or something? He knew they should have brought her by themselves, and now he was regretting not doing so. “Calm down, will you?” Cameron said from across the room. “She will probably be here anytime soon.” Cameron tried to reassure, but Callan could still hear the worry in his tone. He was also worried about their mate. His brother rarely showed any sort of affection towards anyone but he could tell that Cameron already cared about their little mate. It's impossible not to immediately grow attached to your soul mate. “You know I can't calm down until I know she's safe. What if something happened on her way here? Fuck.” He muttered the last words under his breath. Cameron thought about the po
Pain. Anguish. Misery. Soreness. That's all Claire felt. The guards that were assigned to torture her walked out and locked the cell, leaving her all bruised and beaten. Her left eye was slightly swollen, she could tell from the soreness in it. Her clothes were torn as they stripped her of her dignity. Leaving her in only her underwear. Her back had long, deep slashes after being flogged. She lost count of how many times they whipped her after reaching thirty. Her pale skin had turned red. Her mind was numb as she curled herself into a dark corner of the cell that smelled of dried rotten blood. Her lips were trembling as tears streamed down her face, strands of her red hair blurred her vision. Her back stung as she choked on a sob. She's been locked in the cell for almost two days with little to no food. She could have easily escaped from the cell, the idea was really tempting, but she knew that was a risk she wasn't willing to take. If Alpha Darius or anyone should find out wh
Alpha Darius lay in a heap on the floor, he had been knocked unconscious. Bite marks and bruises littered his skin. Daxton walked into the cell, staring down at his father's condition. He hated his father so much but he couldn't bear seeing him in that condition. But, he knew his father deserved it, he had been violent towards his best friend and he would bear the consequences of his actions. He left there after ordering the guards to take him to the pack doctor, and he headed straight to Claire's house. They were currently in Claire's small house in their pack, Ashley was sitting on the little couch beside the window, her face was filled with dried tears. He watched as Claire's mates left her sleeping form on the bed and walked towards him, their jaw clenched. They stood firmly in front of him obviously trying to intimidate him, he wasn't scared of them per say. After all, he has alpha blood running through his veins. “I hope you are aware of the consequences of your father's acti
They were currently in front of Claire's house. Cameron had called for a driver from his pack. Claire gasped when she saw the beautiful car. She knew a little about cars and she could tell this was a brand new black Chevron suv 2022. The interiors were plush and the seats were well padded. A bulky man with a deep scowl on his face, came up to Claire and Ashley and took her bags from them. He dumped them unceremoniously in the car's trunk and went back to the driver's side. Cameron was speaking furiously on the phone, while Callan typed away on his phone. She honestly pitied anyone on the receiving end of the call. He wasn't talking to her but his voice sent shivers down her spine. Ashley slightly elbowed her and smirked knowingly, making Claire's cheeks tint pink. Claire's steps were wobbly as she walked so her mates had asked– scratch that– ordered her to sit inside the car, while they did whatever they were doing. “What do you mean he escaped?” Cameron asked calmly, his face cold
They arrived at the Dark moon pack half an hour later. Claire had woken up from her little nap, a few seconds ago. She watched the beautiful scenery as the car sped into the pack. The fields were glade-green. The sound of chirping chicks filled the air. She could see a group of kids playing around and some were curiously watching the tinted car. “Alpha, we are here.” Said the driver who she has yet to find out his name. Claire sat up straighter in her seat and allowed her eyes to wander out the window which landed on an enormous mansion. The house was ridiculously large for just two people. It was a three-storey building. The house was by trees, it was situated in a secluded part of the pack, away from everyone else. In Claire's pack their Alpha's house was next to the beta and gamma's house, but this pack was different. There were no other houses next to the Alphas house. “Do you need us to carry you in, Claire?” Claire was startled by Callan's voice. They were already out of the
Claire glanced at the clock and it said 7:06. Her eyes widened, she had slept for three hours! She wondered if it was the drugs that made her sleep that long. Her stomach growled in hunger and she realized it was time for dinner. She stood up from the comfy bed. She swayed a little but caught herself before she could fall. She walked out of the room not bothering to change her clothes. She wondered if her mates were back from where they went to. She yawned and ran her her fingers through red curls. She wandered down the hallway that her mates had led her through when they were showing her to her room. She walked down the stairs and rose a brow as an unfamiliar scent hit her nose. She followed the scent and saw a girl typing away on her phone in the living room. Who is she? As if noticing a presence behind her, she turned around and jumped to her feet. Her eyes widened as she saw Claire. “H-hi, Luna. I didn't see you there…” She trailed off as her cheeks tinted pink. “I'm Elena.”
