04~Realisation

Keerthana's Pov: 

After sometime , Vedanth and Arnav went out and we started chatting. 

At the evening, I literally tortured Madhu to listen to me , how I saw him in the lift , his closeness, voice and on the top of that his sweet gesture of giving me the lollipop. 

She glared at me and I turned my face.

" Hey your crush!" She said and my head automatically turned in the direction to see him.

He's busy in his phone waiting for Nandhini.

Yup! He is the one who picks her up and drops her home everyday. They are childhood friends and I always admire their bonding.

But his face looks different now. He's weird! 

As he got down from his bike , he walked towards the dust bin and spat something inside it.

Suddenly realisation hit me hard! It's Coollip , smokeless tobacco. 

My heart ached and I couldn't digest the fact.

I wish , I atleast spoke with him in a friendly manner but because of my hesitation I lost the opportunity. 

I don't regret it , because he hates when the girls who were once friends with him try to initialise a romantic relationship with him.

The next day , he didn't attend the first two hours and I started to miss him . 

My lips curved as he entered to attend the third hour. 

He's busy with his phone , I'm busy with my robot.

The way his lips curve for a millimetre smile , the way he ruffles his hair , everything about him made me admire him. 

Oh my god! He caught me. I immediately turned away from him and pretended like I'm doing something else. 

" It's the sixth time he caught me staring at him in this week." I whispered with embarassment.

'What would he think of me?' that's the only thought in my mind.

After that I didn't even dare to turn my head towards the direction he sat.

After the classes are over , he went out immediately and I started scrolling i***a.

Harish and Ajay went to have their lunch in the hostel and Akanksha went to fill the water bottle.

When she entered the class , she glanced at me.

" What happened?" I asked as I sensed something wrong.

" You know about the coding competition in the AI department right?" She asked and I nodded.

" Nisha , his ex girlfriend attended the event and she wished to see him. He went there." She said and I didn't know how to react. I just nodded my head in response.

" Umm..Will they reconcile?" I asked her , my heart raced at the each passing second.

" I think so.." she replied giving me an awkward smile.

My eyes are dying to drown

In your eyes , which is 

No lesser than an Ocean..

My legs automatically

walk in the direction

I hear your voice..

My hands carress the words 

when it's written by you..

For others , it's just a scribbling

on the table , But for me

It's your precious feeling..

I blush , so does my heart!

I wish to be a lap , in which you 

Lie , A shoulder in which

You can lean on..

A heart that can carry your 

Memories ..

A hand that ruffles your hair ,

A lips that smile when you

Smile..

But for you , I'm noone!! 

It's so hard to accept the fact     

that you are not mine.

I don't need any truth , I'm ready to live in a dream ,

If you are only mine.

" Are you okay?" She asked as she patted my cheeks. I nodded faking a smile.

" Then why are you crying?" She asked and that's when I realised the tears that flow through my cheeks.
