Delilah raised her gaze slowly, looking at James from the side where she was standing. James smiled faintly at an unknown woman that Delilah had never seen before. He even let go of his hand grip slowly on Delilah.
All Delilah did was lower her head instead. In front of someone, James admitted that Delilah was a cousin. While previously, in front of Delilah, he insisted on claiming her as a lover.
Meanwhile, Grey turned his face the other way when he heard James hiding Delilah's situation as his cousin. He did understand the case, but he thought that James might defend Delilah at least to another woman like Schruman.
"I'm glad to see you again in this meeting, Mr. Belgenza. If I find out that you are one of the guests, I will invite you to go along with me. You don't have to bring your cousin as your partner, right?" Nicole half chirped again with a slight chuckle and glimpsed at Delilah. Delilah didn't even dare to put a straight gaze upon her.

"Looks like our love affair should be a secret, Candy!" said James, with a hand twirling with Delilah's hair strand. He was staring at her intensely."There is no love between us, Mr. J. I am staying here because you compelled me." James fell silent when he heard Delilah's answer unhesitatingly. He kept his eyes on her and nodded slowly with a slightly gloomy expression."I've helped you many times." James slightly murmured."Me too… there should be no more debt between us!" cut Delilah right to the core. James took a deep sigh in annoyance yet smirked to see her eyes."How long are you going to reject me, Candy?" Delilah did not want to answer but chose silence instead. In contrast, James was trying hard to dominate her."It's been almost a year, and you haven't allowed me to court. What else should I prove to you, sweetheart?" Delilah raised her gaze and turned to James."Do you know what love means, Mr. J? Love means sacrifice, sin
Nicole raised her trace to James' chest, and instead of enjoying her seduction, James smiled as he slowly pulled Nicole's hand out of his."We barely know each other. I think your moves are too much, Nicole," James quipped in a low voice sexy voice. Once again, Nicole was stunned at James. He was so different from all the men she had met so far. He was so cool and calm towards her. Somehow, it was ravishing her hunger even more."I want to be close to you," Nicole replied unabashedly. James took a deep sigh and then walked further away from Nicole."I do not like to be close to women, Nicole." Nicole frowned and asked a question that made James stop walking toward his table."Are you gay?" James closed his eyes and turned around by sighing annoyingly."No, I'm straight. But I oppose in relationship with anyone!" James answered, then walked around to sit at his working chair and continue his previous work. Nicole smirked and still didn't give up. Ja
"Turn off the lights..." Grey ordered the control room's staff to turn off particular lights over his phone after James got out of the elevator and put on his mask."What about the emergency lights, sir?" asked the staff further."Keep them on. Don't let the lights get too dark." Grey added."Yes, sir," Grey cut the call off and walked out of the elevator to see James. All the lights were off from the end of the corridor to James' penthouse, leaving only the dim emergency lights to put some direction only."AAHH… HELP ME!" yelled Delilah, tugging frantically at the doorknob. She was half sobbing in fear and was trying to save herself. Delilah tried to run to the end of the corridor but instead met a dead-end alley. She ran back to the front door of the penthouse where the previous scary man was standing. He was gone. Delilah was getting more scared and tried to look left and right, and back. But there's no one. It was such a desert place to
Hastily and furiously, Daniel stepped out of the penthouse briskly through the lobby. He stood for a moment before a valet parking attendant showed up in front of him with his car. Daniel got in without a word and gave an annoying tense look by slamming the car door. His breath hitched, and he sped off the car without waiting. Daniel did not expect that he would have to witness Delilah tempted to kiss James. Although Daniel planned to find out the place where Delilah lived, he saw something that triggered his anger. He could think of anything than being furious to see the kiss.James broke his kiss to peck Delilah's forehead at his place after that. He plans to entrap Delilah even though it ends with a sweet kiss from her."It's cold in here. Shall we go inside?" James half-whispered to Delilah. She nodded at James' offer and slightly smiled. James got up first and helped Delilah to stand up later. After pressing the password and going inside, James held Delilah
James' hands quickly took the magazine that Grey put on his table. He almost popped his eyes when he saw the magazine's front cover. It was too damn bad to slide off."What are we going to do now, sir?" asked Grey abruptly. James couldn't fully comprehend his question. James' eyes were still glued and began to show an attitude of annoyance rather anger. He hardened his jaw and hissed his breath irritably. That was an infotainment and celebrity magazine. Thus, making it to the front spot was a big deal. However, the primary model was a female model that James didn't know. But it's not the prior model that gets his attention, but a pretty extensive photo in a corner. And the photograph of Delilah when she walked hand in hand, crossing the street with a man who is none other than Daniel Belvedere.James immediately opened the gossip news page was launched. Not only one but up to three pictures depicted Delilah and Daniel's togetherness behind James. It trigge
James widened his eyes and stared irked when Daniel casually barged into his house looking for Delilah."Why are you looking for my girl!""Your girl?!… hahaha, you call yourself Delilah's lover! how funny that was!" Daniel mocked him openly without hiding anything. James' eyes lit up in fire even more. He was ready to spit fire from his mouth to burn Daniel, who laughed at his status as Delilah's "lover.""You must be dreaming… a man like you should have been gone from Delilah's life forever. You only ruined her life!" James abruptly pushed Daniel to beat him. Meanwhile, Grey, who originally had the intention to prevent a fight, instead took hold of Daniel so James could hit him."Oh… you guys are ganging up now!" Daniel kicked James, and instantly, they were in a fight. It broke out in the room, leaving the hassle."STOP!" yelled Delilah suddenly after coming out of the room due to the noise. After hearing the noise from her
James glanced at Nicole and smirked. In comparison, Nicole was now sitting closer to him."Do you have a boyfriend?" James asked after a few drinks and a moment of silence before. Nicole had time to frown, not understanding the meaning of James' query.'Is he after me?' – thought Nicole on her mind, trying to guess. Suddenly, her self-confidence rose above the surface. She grinned seductively."No... I'm not currently in a relationship with anyone," Nicole replied confidently and broadly smiled at him. James chuckled and shook his head."Then I can't talk to you." What!... actually what James meant, Nicole shrieked over her mind. Nicole became even more confused. James was entirely unlike any man he had met so far. Guessing his thoughts was the hardest and almost impossible."I don't understand." Nicole protested in such an annoying tone at James. Though, James casually responded to her."You'd better not understand." James
"Then how should I bear with James? I'm dreading of him," whined Delilah, half-sulked with her knees folding to her chest. Nisa chuckled when she heard Delilah's tone as she complained about James."I didn't like Bryan Alexander either. Did I tell you how much I hate him because he stole my first kiss?" Nisa spoke instead."Uhm, I don't think so," Delilah replied softly. Nisa smiled, and her breath sounded quite clear on the phone."I've lived what you're living now, Delilah. When I was a teenager, I admired Bryan Alexander, but I hated him because of his bad manners!" Delilah was silent while quietly listening to Nisa's story."After we got married and lived together, I was able to see a lot of things that I never thought about before. He showed me what a truly loyal man is." Nisa explained thoughtfully."How can you speak like that? Weren't you say that he was a famous playboy in New York? Was that all false?" Delilah interrupted confusingly.
