Amara’s pov

We finished up from the cabin, but decided to stay for a while knowing that when we got back to our lives, we would be too busy to come back.

I was already stressed thinking about the preparations we had to make for the mini-festival usually held to usher in the winter but my excitement for it because winter was my favorite season collided with me thinking about the stress and a part of me couldn't wait to go back.

Orian and I lay in the cabin, fingers intertwined with my head laying on his chest while he stroked my hair softly and I traced my free fingers against his hand tracing the prominent rose tattoo.

"That was the first tattoo I got." He mentioned as I traced out the curves of the flower, "I don't know why I got it, it just called to me and I did."

"Hmm."

"Maybe it was a sign that I was going to meet a woman obsessed with roses later on." He laughed with his lips still against my hair.
